Just checked Anja's thread and Nueva knows Anja's secret beauty campaign. I wonder what it could be. I still have this idea it has something to do with Armani. He seems to like her. I'm so curious

Personally, I'm hoping it's Dior. Anja is so perfect for make-up ads

I totally agree with you. Even though she hasn't been around long, Bette is so fresh-faced and adorable, but also incredibly versatile, she deserves to have an awesome campaign. And as for Kate, I feel the same way. Despite her beauty, her controversy is what's getting her jobs

I'd love to see one or two group ads with a bunch of really new girls. I'm usually not very fond of multi-girl campaigns, but that'd be sweet.

The newer girls will be offered smaller campaigns, which in turn and if done well, will get them bigger campaigns as they go on..

Unless you are the sprinting superstar who gets big campaigns first try, but that is very rare...

Usually we'll see newer girls in ads like..

But those are usually girls who already did make an impact on the runway the season leading up to the campaigns, à la Urazhevskaya, right?

It would be way cool if they just picked someone who was a complete newbie, but I guess that won't happen.

Well generally the runway seasons will show whos new and hot right?..
Unless you are Snejana, for some reason had a Vogue Italia cover even before her first runway season.

But as for truly new girls, who have done no runway work...
this probaly wont get them campaigns because the runway season is what sparks off the new hype, and visibility. Without it its slim that the clients would have even noticed the girl if she wasnt in shows.

And nc for newer girls, I meant girls with only one runway season.

ie Romina Lanaro and Anne Marie's first campaign was for Valentino RED
Britini Stanwoods first was Philosophy, same with Katja
The newer girls such as Andrea Willis was in Just Cavalli, and so on...

But lately it seems like the brands have been changing preference, ie from Kenzo they used Guinevere and Tasha, both who are veterans to choosing a girl with one runway season such as Anna Maria.

don't get me wrong, i really loved carmen, but KK has just a tad more sex appeal, which is perfect for michael kors, imo......

Frankly, in this case I was a bit put off by your telling me the obvious. But I realize that you were simply giving an FYI, it's just me being super touchy. You're a great source of information and I appreciate your posts a lot.

I was never a fan of KK, but I wouldn't mind seeing her for Michael Kors again. They're a good fit.
