Evening has descended on Gucci's fall ad campaign.

In her fall collection, Frida Giannini, the fashion house's creative director, replaced spring's pretty babes with tomboys in glam rock clothes à la David Bowie. In the ads, Giannini has shadowed spring's sunspots to create a nocturnal mood for fall.

"It's a whole different feeling. It's as if the girls were leaving one party to head to a club. To me, it's very new for Gucci," said Giannini.

The city nightlife energy was re-created at the Paramount studios in Los Angeles, where Craig McDean shot models Iselin and Snejana. From their blonde Cleopatra-esque wigs to spike-heeled platforms, the girls look like party animals from head to toe.

"My favorite shot is that of the two models in long evening dresses with the intense blur of lights silhouetting the shape of the dresses," said Giannini.

The campaign breaks in the September issues of fashion publications worldwide.

Thanks for posting the LV ads. I must admit that they're as horrible as the fall collection! So tacky with the fur and the huge logos. LV ads are going downhill every season, but I'm still curious to see the rest.

I like the vuitton ones, but imo its spoiled by that big, hideous, awful, fat, ugly, white, fur whatever it is

And we do have some pre-Fall ads, haha, but 100 pages is good because that means discussion is plentiful!

Those Louis Vuitton ads are absolutely disgraceful. They are the most horrendous and bland ads I have ever seen in any ad campaign.

They look depressing and the ads honestly look grunge-like (something LV should NOT be striving for).

Louis Vuitton is a French Luxury house, not a grunge, depressing and ugly brand that is represented in these ads.

Anyone agree?

Hm, let's see the other ads first, I guess? From the models cast, I almost have a feeling that the others might look very different (Adding a Chinese touch to Du Juan's, for example).

At least, I hope for some diversity...
