Mango - M: Elettra Wiedemann, Poppy Delevingne, Info: vogue.co.uk

Fashion editors from around the globe descended on Madrid's spectacular Circulo de Balls Artes last week in anticipation of Mango's AW collection. Models Poppy Delevingne and Elettra Wiedemann had just been signed up as the faces of the brand and flew in to give ambassadorial support.

Delevingne, who wore a navy pleated party dress from the summer collection to the after party said, "Mango is a label I've always bought pieces from, since I was 13 or 14, so it's really exciting to be part of this mega global brand".

Weideman, an arguably "newer" face - but with Isabella Rossellini for a mother and Ingrid Bergman as her grandmother, certainly no novice - explained, "I love the modern silhouettes, the higher waists especially, as they really flatter my body".

The clothes focused on tailored separates for day with a heritage feel across a colour palette of camel to buttery caramel. A laid back, Seventies vibe emanated from the chiffon ***** bow blouses, suede culottes and kick-flare slacks, not to mention the Britt Ekland glossy manes.

Post show, on the roof top terrace of the Circulo de Balls Artes, Champagne flowed and canapés (which included Spain's finest jambon, carved there and then, buttered asparagus, fish tempura and tuna sashimi) continued to appear to a back drop of Coco Sumner's band - I Blame Coco - playing live and a 360 degree view of Madrid.

Excitement also surrounded the unveiling of the 10 finalists of the "El Boton" Mango Fashion Awards. Each receive 18,000 Euros to start designing their collections and then go on to compete for a phenomenal grand prize of 300,000 Euros. This year, British design duo Matthew Cunnington and John Sanderson, along with fellow Brit Jean-Pierre Braganza made the cut. The winner will be announced by Mango's executive chairman, Isak Andic, in October.

Dang, I liked the trashy, glam vibe of DSquared2's AW 2010 runway show; it looks like we are not getting that in the campaign. If it is a series, hopefully they will have glam in other pho-tos.

Juicy Couture’s fall ad campaign was shot by Steven Meisel, and according to the brand’s blog, The Daily Couturist, the set was “ full of quirky furniture, irreverent décor, and real props pulled from Juicy stores,” including a 50-foot charm bracelet, a refrigerator full of Juicy fragrance and a festive custom-made tiered cake.
