To show which clothes are available to the public. I remember Andre Leon Talley mentioning that these clothes can already be bought directly in the stores.

Exactly. The whole point behind Fashion's Night Out is to get people excited about shopping and fashion. So, showing this season's clothes which can actually be purchased made perfect sense.

Now that I've watched the show, I have to say that it was less that Hanneli was inexperienced, and more that ALT wouldn't give her a single word edgewise, but oh well! Overall I think the show achieved its purpose and though it wasn't the greatest thrill to watch, it wasn't a total bore for me either.

Exactly. Tbh sans her nervousness and inexperience I wanted to hear more from her but if ALT would only shut up. He was like those people in the back row who talks through the entire movie because he knows how it ends. Quite frankly I found his insider's canter annoying. He was such an snob - oh Vogue this, and Anna that - many time disregarding his cute and obviously shy co-host.

André and Hanneli looked nervous broadcasting on CBS, kinda embarrassing to watch. But still, this looked like a lot of fun.
For me, the highlight was seeing all the girls walk and Pharrell singing Hot N' Fun.

yes I want this too. I saw a lot of familiar faces, but a lot of unfamiliar ones.

You'd think with 170 models this would have the biggest names in the industry.

Maybe I didn't recognize them? there definitely was one where I thought it was Carmen Kass, but it wasn't her.

Is it me or are the models and their identities very often ignored in this industry?? Quite a few of the big (Vogue, Elle) websites don't even identify them with the show and backstage pictures! I think that is awful- sometimes all I am interested in is who the models are!!
