ok .... so let's get inspired by the vogue cover challenge .....

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1. Challenges will run for a week at a time. ie 7 days !

2. Each challenge has a theme that will be chosen by the previous week's winner.

3. Each participant may submit up to two editorials by theme.

4. Please include the editorial entry number (if you do more than one editorial), magazine, photographer, model name, and the source of your image (Please remember to source correctly -- another model's thread is not a proper source) in your submission post. Entries that violate this rule will, unfortunately, be disqualified from contention.


VOTING GUIDELINES:
1. Once voting begins, it is too late to submit a new entry or change your previous cover submissions.

2. Voting is through private ballot. Please PM BerlinRocks - and if a moderator wants to help me, I'm fine !!!

3. You may vote for TWO editorials per round. In your PM, please include all the necessary information about the entries and rank the editorials in order from your 1st to your 2nd choice. 1st=3 points, 2nd=2 points.

The total accumulated points for each editorial entry will be what determines the winner(s) of that round.

4. You may vote for both editorials entered by the same member for the round, but please do not vote for yourself.

5. At the end of the voting period, the votes will be counted by the moderators, and the results will be posted thereafter. We will try to post around the top 8-10 covers.

6. Please do not complain about the results of each round. Make your voice heard through voting, not through discontent and open criticism. Keep in mind that each voter's tastes and preferences cannot be controlled by anyone but the voter him/herself. And remember: This challenge comes with no actual prizes or rewards - IT'S JUST A GAME.

and to make things clear :

once the theme is chosen, you have to make a story as if it will be published in a magazine. which means :

* you have to chose the magazine and model and photographer and shopping (and make-up artist and hair stylist) / you are the stylist ! no need to name a stylist !
* you have to explain your story (with words and/or images)
* please post 'small' images - if directly from style.com (etc.)

about the shopping :
* you can chose from any season you want (archives are welcomed of course !)
* please refer the season and label


if someone think something is missing, please tell !

Magazine: Vogue Paris
Concept: Two young girls cause quite a stir in the city of lights, with their striking looks & louder than life outfits - they're set to take the city by storm.

ONE
Location: Ladurée

The girls have a sweet tooth & visit Ladurée. Inside, a mess of colorful macarons lay over almost all visible surface in the room. Sigrid has the remains of some around her mouth and in her hands. She is poised very delicately and doll-like. All while, Madisyn is throwing some macarons in the air & giggling childishly.

Hair & Makeup:

Makeup from Michael Kors Fall 08
Madisyn's hair is in a messy updo from Alberta Ferretti SS09 & Sigrid's hair is from 3.1 Phillip Lim SS09

looks:

Sigrid wears purple lace gloves (Luella Spring09), dress (Luella Spring08), Chloé Fall 07 necklace,

Madisyn wears dress & tights from Christopher Kane for central saint martin Fall 06, Chloé belt from SS09,

that's exactly what i think ...
to make a cover for VCC it takes me ... 5 min. !

i'm not sure i understand ...
you mean add a rule which says that the editorial must only contain 2 shots ?

if this is it ... well i don't want to restrain people to an idea of space (nor i want to restraint people to an idea of lcation, time - season - etc.) ... it is there the occasion to have fun and express yourself (you gotta to, baby !)

so of course, you can make an editorial of 2-3 shots ... but if you have time (it's the holidays !!) feel free to make more ....

^Yeah I think that is a better way to put it. It's just that I dislike searching through stlye.com, and getting the pictures for 6/7 outfits.
But your right, it's the holidays.
I will defiantly be taking part in the next theme
