Best bet for stripes is Halloween Club, Aahs, or other costume shop. You may find at Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx. Closeouts here for older styles. Found EG Smith cotton tights both solid and crazy angle stripes. Walmart - mainly footed or thigh high; Kmart - maybe have em.; Forever 21 - royal light blue in nylon footless, also cotton with lace and maybe without: grey, black, white. Other local stores may have solids; ambercrombe fitch and hollister co, footless should be available, and UrbanOufitters.com and at their store will have em now. Hot Topic - stripe, skulls, fishnet, and a few others, including solids.

Try wearing footed or footless tights with capri jeans and a tank top or spaghetti strap sleveless shirt or layered shirts and flat or raised flip flops. If you wear footless styles fold up the ankle portion of the tights up over the edge of the jeans to give it a two tone look for them. May want to buy nylon or cotton footless tights (sockdreams.com, hottopic.com, Forever 21 to name a few places) to wear with it, easier to fold up and can show waistband with fitness top or short top to show midriff. Just a thought

stop hatin' on abercrombie, we've got to work somewhere..and our bosses make us wear the skirts, so why do you all have such a problem when we try to wear some tights underneath so that we can look less sl*tty? geez, you guys.

I like them... I have them in a lot of colours. Well, originally they were stockings, but I have to cut them myself, 'cause they're not selling any cut-off tights in this city. I never wear it with mini-skirt though. I hardly ever wear mini-skirt (uncomfortable ! ) But I wear them with mini-dresses (mostly), shorts...

Sock Dreams has footless cotton tights, urban outfitteres has nylon styles with print and different colors, macy's has only a few colors, forever 21 has cotton legigngs, hottopic has a variety of prints and colors - popular with the teenager and college students, barencessities.com may still have some. American Apparel Store on line has cotton styles.

This should keep most people satisfied.

Legigngs and tights difference and other locations

The difference is leggings are generally cotton and are tight fitting sweats style clothing. May have a presewn waistband that is 1 - 3 inches and may not always be straight ( could be angled ). They may also have some drawstring sewn into them, possible thicker elastic at bottom for ankle area, no crotch panel or gusset between legs area. Similar to sweats as I mentioned. Footless tights are usually nylon and semi opaque, semi sheer, or sheer and would have cotton gusset center crotch panel and nearly no apparent waist band, and the ankle area is with slight sewn band and little to no elastic or not as apparent. When I was in elementary school, I only wore leggings and tights, and nearly everyone else wore jeans. My friends constantly asked me why I wore "spandex" and made fun of me. IT WAS TRAUMATIZING.

I went to nordstrom recently, and in the juniors section there was a whole bunch of manequins with footless tights on. They wore grey/black tights with dresses over it and high heels. It was styled very nicely, but then again the manequins were so slim and tall. After seeing the look on 'real' people its incredibly unflattering.

Men in leggings and tights Japan and US

Men in leggings or tights is ok. Footless are good for men if with shorts for workout. There are camouflage running tights avaiable. I am going to be getting them soon. I want to have them before they catch on. If I am one of a few guys with em then at least I can have it started. As for this styles above, it is a casual trend that is slowly coming here. I have been wearing with basketball shorts and casual shorts. I have navy, black and grey sports tights and brown and black footless for men. Also, have navy, black and brown footed styles in cotton and nylon. Some by Activskin.com and some by EGSMITH ( tights-for-men.com) and also on sockdreams.com too. AOK here. I see some guys now wearing sports styles.

I can definitely see myself wearing these in the winter. It's impossible to stay warm over here, even in thermals!

So if a guy would buy tights, they would have to get the guy ones, right? It's probably made differently to the girls'?
