I think they can pass for very sporty ocassions, let´s say going to a yoga class with flip-flops and a tank tee...That´s how I wear them in summer to cover the yoga shorts and to keep warm during relaxation. Mine´s are not that baggy (only a tiny bit) and they´re made of very light cotton.

The volume thing can be pulled off if you wear something skimpy on top and...let´s face it only if you´re thin or at least if you don´t have a too big bum.

Otherwise, worn for dressy ocassions and with heels...

well softgrey, you definetely called this trend. bebe now carries 4 different styles of gauchos. im sure they'll have versions at other mall shops soon as well
