I see some nice pieces and some awfully tacky ones and some that are just plain ugly. Overall, I like Gaultier, his designs are interesting, and although they don't always appeal to me, I like looking at his designs and looking at some individual pieces that are really nice, instead of just judging the whole outfit, which is usually cluttered and over done.

He is an interesting man, and his designs reflect it.

the best gaultier collection i've seen in years...

some truly original and creative work...the blue dress with the face is outstanding....
but so are the simple wht shift dresses with the shoulder interest...
and the gold corset is a stunning take on one of gaultier's signature pieces...
i think it's simply stunning...(although i'm sure if i were to order it...i would ask for one 'sans' nipple action... )


he managed to give us the fantasy and the reality woven seamlessly into one show...bravo monsieur gaultier...
i doff my beret to you...

Thanks for the pics spike. I missed a lot of the details until I saw the detail shots and saw the faces, so beautiful. Very interesting collection, very inspiring. if only they'd get naomi out of there.
