Thanks Karina :flower:
I don't know what to think about the outfit but she looks cute

That outfit could had a lot of potential. If the long skirt was short at the knee. Or the shoes different without the socks. She is adorable. I like her hair. The braids are cute.

According to the caption posted, "model Genevieve Jones. . ."

So many of these image sourcing websites like Wireimage get their information wrong, which always infuriates me as how difficult can their job be?! So I'm always dubious. I doubt she's an actual model (first and foremostly, she's too tiny!) but I think if the word model was to be used in this context it would be that she was perhaps photographed wearing a repetto item for the exhibition.

I personally was having fun with how the editiorial website called her "model" (not that anyone noticed). I like Gen, but I don't see her being a fashion model. Anyway, perhaps folks don't know how to label her. Some just don't want to call her a socialite for some reason.

I like the daring outfit, even though it doesn't look great.

sorry, but that outfit is hideous...

she has a one page article in the february vogue index...
it has some pics of her jewelry (including the diamond safety pin earrings), and some of her style pics...
i don't have a scanner...can someone else scan it?

It looks like it was an 80's theme party. The hatted girl on her right looks like a tamer version of Boy George.

 Yep but everytime i read it it seems that it's negative. Does it make her being considered as a fame wh*re ?

The reason it was considered negative because she hooked up with a man who is big in the art world and who is married. So she's a famous mistress, let's say. And she took that position and made it happen for her. What is unique about this situation is that she is black and frankly, other black women couldn't get away with this and still have "respect" in society by being featured in all these magazines for her style, jewelry, etc.
