^^it is, Givenchy has been doing these portrait compositions for a while now.

it has nothing to do with Kendall being a Kardashian, she just is an okay model and if you're going to group her with professionals, then she needs to deliver. The composition of the new image is off and I find my eyes going towards Julia before Kendall and she is in a corner behind other girls.

I love this campaign. The cast is mostly great and the mood is quite interesting. Glad they didn't just do the typical b/w portraits.

I hope Isabelle is in the campaign, she looks stunning!

Can't say I care much for what I've seen so far... however, the crowded feeling and the illusion of a slightly crooked composition of the 2nd image gives it much needed edge alongside the clean, b/w portrait images.
My eyes go straight to Alessio though. :D

i love it the best thing about it is you dont see socialites or model sons all you see are models in some cool gothic shot. I bet if no one had mentioned that its Kendall people would be raving about that new girl

It's funny that once you remove Kendall's eyebrows she does have that high fashion look -- otherwise, she can look very commercial.

I love the party shots though, the color tone reminds me of Fiona Apple's 'Criminal' video.

We'll never know, but personally I don't think so. She lacks the intensity especially in that new shot besides MCB and Jamie. She's on par with Julia though.

i love it despite the strange casting cannot wait for more

It's not all about hating the Kardashians and everything associated with them, Kendall fans keep spitting things out like this when the fact of the matter is she's just not that impressive here. I'm someone who has complimented her on the runway, and will give credit to her when it's deserved, but here she really looks naive, lacks intensity, and is out of place next to older and more seasoned women.

You don't see anyone knocking the Brant boy, whose nepotism also placed him here, because he in comparison to Kendall actually looks very high-fashion and sophisticated.

Both shots look too overcrowded imo.
MariaCarla and Jamie are absolute standouts, perfectly poised, perfectly complimentary. Julia has no business being there considering she's posing at the exact angle in both shots - probably the highest form of a filler model - which I don't personally think she is. I prefer Kendall in the first shot because there's less of her.

Kendall literally looks irrelevant. Mariacarla and Jamie own the shots. Kendall brings no emotion or intensity to the campaign. She doesn't pop out. And as for Ricardo picking her, he's loving the publicity and fame that his friends Kanye and the Kardashians have been giving them.

The group shot is so messy. Too much going on, no real cohesion at all.
although i like the styling and the mood i totally agree with this, the composition is just too messy and random..
i think the second group shot is better bc is less crowded and even Kendal looks good there

and i really dislike the male cast! so bland! they're literally there doing nothing..:ermm:

Personally I'm not impressed with this campaign. It lacks that wow factor that Givenchy always brings to the table. And if this some sort of a model competition and this is a group shot, Jamie slays it. And she definitely saves the whole campaign here.

I don't like it, recently Givenchy has the same style of the campaigns. I think Kris & Bruce Jenner (most possible Kayne & Kim) paid Riccardo than Kendall appears on this campaign & also walking on the show, i guess.

One could pay Riccardo with intagram likes, take a picture with him, get him enough likes and you have him feeding out of the palm of your hand. It' kind of sad he's so easily persuaded by the celebrity life.

I honestly take huge offense to this statement, considering all of the girls in this campaign are definately one trick ponies. And I'm not even a fan of Julia Nobis..

I don't mind Kendall being here. I actually find her to be the most fashion attracive of the Kardashian clan. Let's just wait for little Penelope to grow up though..

But overall, this is actually an eye captivating campaign in which my eyes go directly to Julia Nobis. I do agree that this is too busy and over crowded though..

And if there are different girls in this campaign with other shots, one can only hope that the different girls have different sets. As I haven't seen any of the other clothes featured on the runway (like the black bottoms and white top pieces).

And why is Riccardo to blame here? He is not the first of designers to use celebreties. This is just the first time that a designer has actually used a celebrety for a mainline campaign and not a cologne/perfume or different line I believe

Do you think than instagram is the responsable of this?

^^designers use celebrities for mainline campaigns every other season. the difference is that they're known solely as celebrities, not celebrities wanting to be models.
