Some pieces look interesting, chic and mysterious while I don't like others at all.
So I'd say, congrats to some nice outfits

On a side note, I'm SO sick of fashion critics and reporters sugar coating Frida's collections. What? They're afraid of being banned from a Frida Giannini Gucci show? Cathy...tell it like it is, sister...rip "the cobbler woman" to shreds, STAT!

We all know is not the best Frida can deliver but there are some really ofensive comments around here, it was the same with Valentino HC SS 09.

It's OK if you don't like the collection, but oh boy, some of you guys act like you're gonna wear this or someone is forcing you to do it.

I particularly think this collection is not that good, as SS 09, i think there is missing something, but that's just it, don't take it personally!

Besides, her frame of reference doesn't seem to include art or culture of any kind. I wonder if she'd even know who Bourdin is.

The second pic is from 1974. Of course she knows who Bourdin is, everybody does...he's not really obscure

Exactly! Tom Ford would never be this CHEAP..Look at those hideous dots and disgusting furs..the make-up and the hairdo were totally a mess..what the hell was this woman thinking???

Tom Ford was just repeating past masterpieces, really, though of course most designers interpret the past, he was pretty overt in that respect. I prefer the styling here compared to his oil glistening shows, but I guess I'm one of the minority who's not pining for oiled up millenium madness

There were a few puke-worthy pieces like the blue fur, the horrid looking giant polka dots and that blue shimmery... THING on Anna S.

However, I must say there are some pieces which I like. Chanel's dress with the zipper at the waistline... that toga-like dress on Freja. There are some hits, but more misses than hits.

To me, the magic of Gucci that Tom created is dead. Gucci is not exciting anymore. (same goes with Dior)

So sad... but this is crap. Not that it's hideous (well, some of them are), but the lack of sophistication, creativity, power, the mood is what makes it so dull...

Well, on the bright side, this is gonna sell very well, so Gucci group can financially support YSL, McQueen and Balenciaga...

hhmmm, after seeing the whole collection, i think i like it. it's not that really bad guys. well, maybe it is just me who appreciates this collection. i really love the shades!
