Gucci F/W 14.15 Milan

The laziest Gucci collection I've ever seen, it shouldn't take one of the biggest fashion houses in the world to produce this, we've seen small designers with the likes of what is being offered here. Awful.

yeah i don't understand the hype for this. The color palette is just so boring and uninspired. Even the hair and make-up feels lazy

It looked like a 60s junior Sears Catalog just done up in better materials. Very boring and stale. A lot of the looks can easily be found in the highstreet. The silhouettes were redundant, either an A line dress or pea coat and skinny pants.

This is exactly what I thought.

Surprised people are loving this and the Tom Ford collection is being ripped apart in his thread???

Btw there is nothing 70s about this collection save for maybe some A line skirts. These looks presented are directly stolen from juniors looks circa 1966-68. From 1969 onwards, pants were flared.

Very banal and flat. This looks like an H&M collection and honestly these looks can be cobbled easily on the high street.

I love it when a Gucci collection isn't overworked. I like most of everything here, save for the fur pieces.

the best Gucci collection in a while :buzz.

Yes, it is. However, is that really saying much? At least her previous horrendous collections (and I kinda liked S/S 14's eveningwear) caused some kind of debate. This doesn't even warrant a reaction.

I also find it pretty boring. It is much better than last season (not saying much), but I don't find it wow-worthy either. There are some solid staple pieces, but the Easter colors and lack of slinkiness makes this flat.

This collection is weak and safe which surprises me from Frida. It almost looks like a pre-fall collection !

Frida has done her job : a great use of materials, perfect cuts and a wearable collection but that's all.

There is no rooms left for creativity.

Nice collection. Cute and chic clothes, lovely colours. Very sixties. One of my favourites so far.

I liked it in motion save for some of the outfits (Anja's first one ) and alot of the pieces individually were great however I can understand how some can see it as repetitive and uninspiring as a whole..

Question - does anyone have a link to or know where to watch the show from the backstage camera? Tried to watch during the livestream but the backstage camera didn't work..

I agree with both of you. Can't see where the money in these clothes are.
Feels more like a Gucci by Gucci cheaper version.

i guess this is better than her recent messes, but it's only cause it's safe and basic?
it just feels like i'm looking at a zara lookbook, there's not a single look that makes me think high fashion or luxury.

better than her other disaster collections however, i have no desire to dress as if i was from the 70s

Its such a safe collection that it becomes almost bland. I definitely agree that it has a pre-fall collection sentiment. I did like a few of the furs and for a moment got a Tom Ford vibe from one of them, but other than very weak. Not a fan of the boots at all.

The collection's not doing much... I wonder how it'll translate on the ads.
