Gucci S/S 2010 : Natasha Poly & Ryan Kennedy by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

Natasha is the one and only Gucci girl. They are predictable but stunning.

This is so Gucci, not very original but it still works.
Natasha looks stunning as usual.
The shoes

she's frida's gucci girl, that's for sure...
this is predictable, yes, and i wish the concept was different than the resort ads, but natasha rocks it...

Great campaing simple but beautifull very similar the estetic oif Cruise but i like, very M&M But rememberme muchhhhhhh to Versace SS2009 By Mario Testino

Definitely one of my favourite ad this season. The clothes looks desirable and showcased beautifully. And Natasha's such a bad*ss.

Although the male model...
From all-star cast last season to this.

Love the location.
Love the angles and different perspectives.
Love the clothes.
Love the concept. It's all very sexy. 2 thumbs up!

Wow, even a top model and duo of top photographers cannot disguise how bad the collection was. Everything looks cheap and tacky; and that plexiglass is horrid! So so so kitsch.

Besides, who exactly are they trying to appeal to with this campaign/collection? Rich housewives in Miami who live in those kitsch plexiglass houses and are overly-tanned and overly-blonded? :innocent:

this is a great campaign for a lesser house. gucci is such a major house, they can afford to add a little more edge and a little more controversy than what we're presented with here. if this were a campaign for, say, proenza schouler, i'd applaud, but gucci has done better campaigns with collections far inferior than that homerun frida produced for spring.

just like the collections from spring summer were all about who found themselves willing to take a risk, it's clear that the house of gucci is not willing to take a risk with their advetising this season. it might be for the best considering some risks -- yes, i'm referencing louis vuitton -- have not met universal acclaim.

The concept is so recycled, and wayy too similar to the cruise ads. If I was just a regular consumer flipping through magazines, I would think that they belong to the same season....

Of course campaign is great (I'm pleased for vogue28) but it looks like cruise campaign...

I just like the fact that they don't need a dozen models to make the campaign work.

It may look too Cruise but I love it, definitely an upgrade from the last season's.

Like the model choice, Natasha can't do wrong for Gucci.
But well, that's not really the pictures and colours i like, guess it looks far better on paper.
