Gucci S/S 2022 by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

I hate Michele's vision for this brand. Even Frida was better. The male Maria Grazia. I can't wait to see him out of this brand as her.

My difficulty with Alessandro Michele’s Gucci tenure is that the advertising resembles children playing dress-up. I have never been able to suspend my disbelief long enough to not see the artifice of models dressing up in costumes. Yes, fantasy and all that, but I’ve never gotten anything of the sort from this storied luxury house under Michele’s direction and this campaign is no exception.

Despite all the theatrics it's just as one dimensional as Maria's work.

An absolute eyesore, and at this rate I'm just numb to Alessandro Michele's Gucci - including the advertising campaigns. I understand a party concept requires an large cast to help with the atmosphere but there's just far too many bodies and elements to this that it's hard to digest.
