Ackerman was the last guest designer for Ruffo Research, right before they decided to stop collaborating with rising designers Lolita

Absolutely loved the black dress in the second plate you posted here.

Lolita,he's another Antwerp-trained,Antwerp-based designer. He also did the last(very last,at that)collections for Ruffo Research. He's really good. If you want to better familiarize yourself with his work look on totemfashion.com


Anyway,this is quite the typical Ackermann collection. Always lots of movement with the fabric. I like that cobalt blue-he utilized that color very well. I love that sleeveless leather coat and the waistcoat on the second block.

btw, loved his choice of 'real women' as models and the look of the shoes/leg accessories , even though i very much doubt if his shoes are easy to walk in
