i agree with scott, this is nothing special and yes, i was also expecting a bit more..

Haider Ackermann: While Haider Ackermann usually favors chic sobriety, this season he explored a lighter aesthetic with a feminine collection in pretty pale colors. Showing his first collection since Anne Chapelle — also a shareholder in Ann Demeulemeester's business — invested in his fledgling house, Ackermann's romantic bedouins in flesh tones set a sensuous desert scene. Suede safari jackets were paired with loose low-rise pants, while tops of suede sequins were worn with slim-fitting shorts. Billowing chiffon caftans decorated with streams of ribbons were pretty as a picture. To all of this, Ackermann added a hint of Gothic romance, with spiderweb-like knits that hung loosely over lacy bodysuits or leather pants and shorts that laced up the side.

^exactly.

It could be the styling but then again,apart from the spider-web bits,even the pieces themselves aren't quite as strong as I'm used to seeing from Haider. Just loads of swaths of satin fabrics and biker trousers which lace-up...and here we are again with these cuffed "tourist" shorts

I actually quite like it...the leggings are nice...although I love that top in the 2nd pic on post 2#...it's gorgeous...so is the hooded black cape...stunning! the lace up, short trousers are also very nice...

i think there is nothing that new or that exciting in this collection
i loved some pieces but in general i am not overexcited here
and plus i don't see any positive aspects in this colour
in my opinion it's anemic and rather unflattering

Interesting detail mix and quite wearable as presented. A shot of some color amongst all that anaemic neutral would have perhaps given a bit of relief, but a nice, light collection. Perhaps to clear the palate before this fall's show...
