I had this done about 2 years ago. I tried to get it again about 3 months ago but my hairstylist was on vacation and the new girl screwed it up but I'm waiting a few more months so I can get it done again, RIGHT and since my hair will be longer it will look more like the guy in the pic.

It may look strange but this hairstyle fits me so well. Even my mom said I was cute the first time..mother approved. Can't go wrong with that.

Permed styles are very popular in asia, especially Japan.

I personally don't like the short layered choppy hair on Asian girls esp. the ones with round faces...it makes their heads look huge...kinda like onion bulbs and I don't like the permed look on guys...I don't know but the color and the frizzy hair looks like it's severly damaged and fried

yeah that style of hair does look really good on you mouko.

I think there is a style of hair though that does look sort of 'asian' cut very 'in' or close to the head if that makes sense?

I don't usually post here, but when this thread came up, I just had to.
Recently, I have been printing out pictures of these same hairstyles in the hopes that I can find a hair salon in Cleveland, Ohio (where I live), who would be "hip" enough to understand what I want.
I already have long hair, but I want to do something like this with it....

They certainly do have really great hair. I love it because I think it's really flattering to their faces and thats what's most important!!! People always want to have the latest hairstyle and whatnot but never take into consideration what haircut/style will frame their face best. Also, do you think those girls use a curling iron to get that subtle wavy peicey look??? I'm dying to find out because they always have really nice cutesy waves.

I had this hairstyle back in '99 when I was a hairmodel..
Just imagine it slightly shorter everwhere (including the top), with natural curls, blond hair and added pearly pink dye.
Kinda a curly Rod Steward hair-do

I am so envious of you girls for being able to pull these looks off, I have naturally wavy extremely thick hair so for me to get the short haircuts I have to get tons of it thinned out.

Currently my hair is about to the middle of my back, so I might go for a medium length haircut then suck it up and chop off the rest in a month or two.

BTW that link is so great! I wonder who runs it, if its just one girl or a lot of girls.
