Thanks for the pics. OK, it probably doesn't win prizes for originality, and there are a few pieces that I'm not keen on, but some I absolutely love, and the rest I think is really solid. Really good collection I think.

So basically, the girl who loves Balmain, Herve Leger, and Givenchy is going to love this designer. It looks nice to me, but you'd have to be very confident to wear some of these dresses.

No, it's not original nor does it push fashion forward . Yes, it pleases the model obsessed people here which then fools you into thinking it's an extraordinary collection .

With that said, it's not bad at all and by it being a debut collection, it's passable . Maybe he will get better and develop a personal design aesthetic . Maybe he won't . At least he's got the buzz so that what he does next season, people will watch .

well his name is hakan yıldırım and has been well known in turkey for quite a while. his old collections weren't bad, but they weren't good neither. i have to say that i'm impressed, i definitely wasn't expecting such a success from him. he seems to have sharpened his taste and style. impressive cast, good clothes (nothing new or mind-blowing but i like them). and having carine's approval and kate's presence is definitely not bad for a first show in london.

Yes 80% Givenchy and 20% Balmain , with this super tight pants and minis , that 80s trashy party girl. in the sense its aiming for that customer. Givenchy has moved on from this look. In any case great model cast but the clothes are all things you can get in stores right now. Its just average fashion show with a great model cast, thats all.

It's super tight and super short, yes, but somehow I don't get the sense he's aiming at the full on 80s trashy girl like Balmain . It feels he's more towards one that's a little more restrained, but still likes to party . But I do agree it's just average .

EDIT : Yes !!! Alber Bear beats everyone out in the You-Want-To-Hug-Me type of cute department .

I have many photos of him and his runway and I've been to his shows and he is the most outstanding name of Istanbul Fashion Week and now Hakan Yıldırım as HAKAAN he is huge today at London Fashion Week. I am so happy that after Rıfat Ozbek whom I am a huge fan,now we have Hakaan.
