also sorry for the double post, but for those wondering about the subscriber's cover, it is the first image in post 1. It has that same horrible font saying 'sunsation' and 'jennifer' and that's it. fluro orange text still. the covers are practically the same, except the newstand has more text. i suppose Edwina McCann isn't confident yet with branching out with her subs covers (that'll come with time, though). I would have loved to see the subs cover with the shot of Jennifer leaning back, eyes closed in the balmain jacket. Without that font. *shudder*.

The first picture is amazing!Wow but this ugly and amateur font on the cover...Horrible!!!:sick:

I briefly flipped through the issue today, the writing on the cover is absolutely disastrous!

Whilst I appreciate that having Jen Hawkins on the cover will not be to the liking of many here in the TFS community, I think she looks great on this cover!
It's a simple, bright and unpretentious theme that suits her very well, and I in fact especially like the colour scheme.

but what makes her "low class"?? I wouldn't dare make a judgement on anyone's character "because she isn't high fashion in any shape or form"

My impression of her (from hearing her talk, reading her interviews) is that she is a bit of a bogan and a bimbo, which doesn't mean that she isn't a nice person. But often, when I see her dolled up in expensive, classy, high-fashion clothes, it looks like she is playing dress ups in someone else's clothes, rather than wearing them as if they suit her.

I do think she has been styled appropriately here given her look; swimwear and balmain is a good match for Jen, but I find the look too tacky for my personal tastes. Plus, this is such a blatant way of selling her own, rather unremarkable swimwear line (though, I know other celebs often do similar things).

Honestly, one of the better things about this magazine is that Christine Centenera was doing great editorials - her Kate Bosworth from last year (with Jamie Huckbody) is one of my all time favourites. Mark Vassallo's editorials are always so OTT and unchanging and I don't think they appeal to many female readers of the magazine, yet now he's on the masthead too and Alison Veness McGourty (Editor of Grazia too and now oversees Harper's Bazaar!) LOVES him, he'll always be on the cover no matter what.

I also really HATE that font. I don't see the appeal, and judging from people's comments, other people feel the same way.

I can almost feel the desperation seeping out of Harper's Bazaar.

This I quite like. Can't say that don't like or really love. Although it looks quite cheap done, but really nice to watch pictures.

the cover looks like it shud be for a diving magazing or something like that or one of the pull out mags for like clothing or makeup that u get in a proper magazine.

Another magazine cover that tries to combine Balmain with a bikini.

Oh dear. Jennifer Hawkins isn't a model, she's a beauty pagent contestant.:rolleyes::innocent::doh:

I could do that cover in MS Paint. :ninja: Terrible.
That other cover with her doing like a yoga pose is so much better! :innocent:
