Harper's Bazaar UK September 2007 : Georgia Frost

Lindsay, Morgane and Georgia will probably make me buy this issue, but the cover is horrid... i'm glad i'm not in London and my cover won't have crystals on it  I think it'd be a more than decent cover without the bangs though :ninja:

...wait, they said Georgia Frost was the number one representative of Britain under 40? I'm not sure if they were pulling a funny or being absolutely braindead. She's a lovely model, but my friends in Britain don't have any idea who she is either.

Either of the Lily's would've been a more prolific model to ascribe that to. o.O

I like the idea of what they wanted to do, it was just executed poorly on the cover.

It's funny. I was praying for Georgia to land something big for this month, but this cover wasn't what I had in mind! Her hair and her expression here just doesn't work. :( The only thing on the cover I like is probably the title.

But Morgane and Georgia sound good enough! I'm still really happy for Georgia get this though as much as I hate the cover.

Wow I do not like the cover. She looks bizzare to me. I think its her very short fringe. It makes her head look super large...

I like Georgia but the cover seem so weird to me ..
Nor ugly or beautiful ..

The cover is just as hideous in real life...editorials are really poor which is a shock since they've been more directional recently....however, HB has undergone a new look inside and the layout is far better...wish they'd use better articles to provide a balance to the fashion....apparently Kate Winslet was meant to be on the cover of this issue with Peter Lindbergh photographing her and they bumped her at the last minute for Georgia Frost, not only is this worrying aesthtic wise but just damn-right stupid Kershov! You don't want to piss off one of your most prominent cover girls and feted photographers!:ninja:

Do you know why they bumped Kate for Georgia ?

maybe that's because they found out she's on the cover of Vogue Paris and they want an exclusive cover girl  :ninja:

It's just a rumour so far... but let's not get off topic :flower:

^ just a little blurb..it's about him being part of the top 40 under 40 in Britain...nothing new about him and not even a pic...:(

Yes, I got hold of a copy yesterday and as ever with this magazine, the main source of disappointment is the editorials. UK HB seems to have a policy of not booking 'big name' models - either they don't have enough money or people don't want to work with them.

The redesign I did like - it made the content seem sharper, more modern. I have to say, overall, I got more of a kick from this September issue than I did from UK Vogue.

I'll scan up editorials up when I get home from work tonight. And also the new collage-esque style boards they've started to do...:flower:

It'd be great to hear people's opinion on the new look HB once they've seen the contents ^_^

^yes! I'm more excited to see the new layouts than I am about the edits, thanks in advance 1karina1
