Harper's Bazaar UK September 2007 : Georgia Frost

The Lindsay and Laragh editorials are gorgeous! I may have to pick this issue up. :woot:

I'm pretty much going to be broke by the end of September....since the overseas ones come in a bit later.

All in good fun though! :buzz:

The cover is so horrible. I like the Punk Doll ed :) Thanks for scanning

I don't really care for the cover itself, but I don't necessarily despise it. Shades of red and crystals aren't limited to the holiday season, you know. ;) As with most covers, I wish there were only a few lines of text to go with the image, nothing else. What's done is done, though, and the final result here is actually quite decent.

It's very difficult to try and show the new design of the magazine since there isn't a huge change in features etc...it's more to do with the layout of items, the font used etc....anyway, I've scanned this feature on the 7 hottest trends for the season. Really love the collage effect...don't know if this will be a permanent feature or just a one-off for the September issue...

^^ Oooh, thanks. That must have been hard work. :flower: Can't wait for the next ones! ;)

Overall, I liked the issue - but I did find a few things slightly distasteful about it... the London-focused bias of only distributing the special copies of this 'Best of British' issue to that city alone, and the promotion of Burberry on the cover and inside, as somehow iconic of the country, when this year the company closed its Welsh facility and moved that production overseas, a decision even its own spokesmodel, actor Ioan Gruffudd, campaigned against. Best of British indeed. More like 'Best of New Bond Street' and forget about the rest.

i'd never bothered with this magazine until my girlfriend picked up a copy the other day. i must say i was impressed, i shall be buying this and future issues. :flower: i never normally bother with articles (just look at the pretty pictures:innocent:) but actually found several i enjoyed in this.B)

the issue is not that bad...
I really don't understand their definition of punk... I think we just don't have the same dictionnary... but whatever, they shoot Givenchy FW 08 collection and I'm happy with this...
Morgane D. 's editorial is just amazing... I really like it... eventhough it seems really not easy to shoot satin... too much satin kills the satin...(I don't know if this literaly translated french expression makes sense for anglo-saxons...)

it's a pretty good issue, but just 3editorial for a september issue is poor...

thanks again for the scans Karina...

The cover is hideous. The eds looks okay and thos eKate Winslet pictures were also featured in the september issue of Vogue Germany.
