Chanel HC FW10 (last year) & HC FW09 (2 year ago) were already in the evening @ the Grand Palais

Chanel has never shown at the Grand Palais at 'night' the fall 2009 show was at 8pm and due to european summer time was actually quite light. This will be totally new and very very exciting. Fingers crossed for a chic take on LED screens.

Dior meh, ended bad with Galliano and will continue to be so I'm sure.

Valli and Givenchy. How exciting, in my years of following the couture schedule it has never been so strong, very exciting time for french fashion.

There's a reason Arnault is taking a bow... perhaps to announce who's taking over ? .
Givenchy will be spectacular as per usual and Valli has very high expectations to live up to so I'm expecting alot from him that we can all no doubt almost guarantee will be lived up to.
Chanel sounds interesting... definitely another reason for that and i always enjoy his shows at the Grand Palais, its going to be big obviously!

I'd say to show who's the boss rather, but it would be highly recommendable from him to announce the new designer indeed.

As in, announcing it on the runway? I really can't see that happening as it would be a really stupid idea, imo. That would just take the attention COMPLETELY away from the collection and everybody will be talking about the announcement.

Can't believe HC is only 3 weeks away. Too bad it's only going to be three days of shows, I want four weeks, lol. Can't wait for S Rolland, E Saab, Valli, Chanel, Dior, basically all of them.
