That's so frustrating! I hate when companies are that slow. I'm thinking of ordering the same bag but I may hold off for a little while, I'm not sure. The site says it's available for pre-order and will ship September 24th.

My first order has arrived! This is the Thalia in chalk and I adore it! The color is a very stunning white-ish color with grey/blue undertones. I believe it will be a great bag for all seasons rather than just a white summer bag which is a relief! (I hate bags that are one season!) The lining is gorgeous! I am truly a sucker for beautiful lining! This is the biggest reason why I ordered this bag; I wanted the gorgeous lining! And I have wanted something in chalk for a while too! And it has tons of room! I didn't realize it had pockets all the way around the outside (I've not found a use for them yet but I'm sure they'll serve some purpose later!) plus all the room and pockets inside! So here are my pics! I also got a clear cosmetic case so included a pic of it showing how much you can fit in it! Pardon the horrible attire; I was planning on working with my horse today but it rained and I haven't changed! (pics by me)

The Mercer Triple Compartment in Iznik Yellow. The color is more like a bright mustard color. Reminds me of prepared mustard! It's a great fall color, should go well with browns, rusts, black etc. The lining is a different material than the Thalia, it's sort of like linen. Pretty but not as soft. This is a more rugged bag. I like it alot though! The pics aren't a great representation of the color, it's richer and deeper.

^^ No, it's a print. The signature lining that I had on a bag before (I sold it) was a softer cotton. It was nice, I didn't mind it at all. This is OK. Just not the silky soft lining of the Thalia!

the lining in my mosaique hobo is a little rougher..
similar to the canvas of the bag
though i guess rough wouldn't be exactly the right word..
because it's not harsh in any way..
still anxiously awaiting my bag!

Funny, I was just browsing the HH site when this notification popped up. Has anybody purchased a Barnard Crossbody bag? I'm considering one as a birthday or Christmas gift for my mother and I love the look but the size measurements seem small compared to the pictures and I'm wondering how much you can actually fit inside of it.

Love the bag! It looks really soft in your pictures, and like it would be very comfortable to carry. If I can manage to stop doing so much retail therapy from now until Christmas, I may get it as a Christmas present for myself.
And my mom is really cool, hahaha! Actually, she just has a love for Western-influenced things. Her absolute dream bag is one of the Christian Dior saddle bags. And she's seen the pictures of the Barnard Crossbody and really, really loves it. I'm just debating whether or not she'd be able to fit all of her stuff in it.

There's a sample sale from now through the 6th. It didn't start at 11 AM EST like the flyer stated (the online sale started much earlier than that) so we missed out on some of the better deals.
I got the Barnard Crossbody in Bruciato, the Carryall in Eggplant, the Celina Signature Cuff in Eggplant and the Capri Coin Purse in Straw. I got all of that with free shipping & no taxes!
I think the prices are kind of high for a final sale/no return sample sale, but fingers crossed that our things will not be defective in any way!
Just a heads up if you want to go to the store: I heard that the majority of the prices are higher at the live sale.

I ordered the Barnard Crossbody in Saddle this morning at around 10AM. I wanted to wait and see if they added more stock because there's a few other things I've been eyeing, but there was only one left so I decided to act on impulse after watching the numbers dwindle all morning. Some of the prices aren't discounted very much, but there's a few really good deals. Hopefully they add even more in the next day or two.
this is a great deal: $170 less than what I paid..
and it was on sale when I got it back in August as well..
