what color was the lagoon? an aqua?

some of the shoes don't look too bad... have they always done shoes..?
i tend to be so fixated on the bags that i don't really venture a whole lot further...

I'm hoping it comes in some great colors... and that they have some fabulous sample sales soon after so that I can afford to get one!

They started doing boots this season and I've heard really positive reviews about those. Everyone says they're incredibly comfortable and the shafts aren't impossibly narrow, which is a plus. The flats, sandals, etc, are going to be launching soon though!

i like that it's not too crazily bright like some of the aqua blues can be..
that almost looks like the robin's egg/tiffany blue.. which i love

i have muscular calves so that's good news about the boots for sure...

i was actually looking at the wallets a bit today..
and am now sort of kicking myself for not getting one during the sample sale

they are $170 but were down at $134 and $117 or something earlier today...

i liked the metallic sort of ones...

the bronze anaconda and the platinum lizard are the ones that caught my eye especially...

Ooh, I love the bronze anaconda! I'm a big fan of metallics, too. How much were they during the sample sale? I made a strategic decision to ignore all sample sale e-mails from HH for a while because I figured it was best to avoid temptation. Maybe they'll mark the wallets down even more in the Wishful sale as it gets closer to Christmas?

Have you seen the Spring 2009 lookbook? I just checked it out today and got some more details on that black bag I mentioned and some of the other styles. And apparently they're also launching a swimwear collection?

^^i might have gotten it in the mail.. don't remember though...

the anaconda one was cheaper than the lizard.. the lizard was definitely $134 and i think the anaconda was less than $120 but more than $110.. don't remember the exact price...

Yeah, that makes sense, the Anaconda is available in the current wishful sale for around 120. But it may go down even further in the next few days. Apparently they're doing 25 reductions/new items every day. There are a couple of small things I'd probably pick up but I don't feel like paying for shipping and the Canadian dollar is so weak right now that it would end up being a really silly purchase.

i've been indulging the last couple days

bought the wallet i posted on the last page in the platinum lizard...
bought the wallet they added to the secret santa sale yesterday for $66! (from original price $220)
as a gift for my mother...

then they added the matching bag today so we had to get that too... for $148 from $598!
couldn't pass up the deals

Congrats! Very good purchases. I especially love both of the wallet. I'd been eyeing the second one, but in the other color combination. Good thing it didn't go on sale! I'm about to go out and buy something I really, really, really shouldn't but desperately want so I'll be sitting out the remainder of this sale or I'll have to resort to selling my organs on the black market.

598 down to 148 is such a steal!

oo I love that wallet you got Chrissy! I used to have the same style wallet in Plum and used it forever and it held up great!

it's got plenty of slots and pockets and all that for cards and everything..

the wallet i got for my mother isn't as easy to use because it doesn't open up all the way (if that makes sense)..
has less slots for cards etc...

yeah, the only thing I found hard to use about that wallet was the coin zipper compartment on the outside...I found that with the flap over the zipper, it got a little annoying, but that was my only complaint for the wallet But at the prices on the sample sales I can't complain hehe

such a good point...
that slot is VERY TIGHT...

i've been using the zippered inner compartment for change...
much easier to use..

thinking maybe i'll put my glasses and contacts prescriptions in that other zippered pocket...
i always keep them in my wallet just in case (of what i don't know )
so, that somewhat hard to get to (but secure) space might be the best spot for them

This is likely shameless of me... but today is the last day of Hayden-Harnett's YouTube contest and I'm essentially tied for first place. If any of you guys are bored, I would greatly appreciate if you put your time to watching my movie. You can even watch it as many times as you like! The hits counter is slow to update but it registers every time the movie is opened!

PS. If you search for flat, wedge, or other shoe-type variants on the HH site.. some of the new stock shows up! I think they're launching officially on the 15th? I'll be honest.. there's only one pair I'm really impressed by.. and many people are saying the prices seem steep.
