This is bs, why would Hedi leave Dior Homme? He has inspired so many men to get up off of their behinds and work out, so that they can fit into his super tailored clothing, he has also inspired a sub culture of frail teens and young men who are not afraid of being adrogynous and creating their own style. Galliano could never take the reins of Dior Homme, i agree with whoever said he would "KILL IT". I would like Hedi to stay at Dior Homme and take the head position at YSL. LOL! Why not? Marc does it.

agree! i really like that new style he has created... i´m not that sure about the efect of Galliano in Dior Homme... if that happens the line is going to change a lot (i think)

and talking about karl and hedi... i really think that if hedi had to go anywhere he should definetly do chanel...
not only he would have a chance to explore his womenswear, but he would also be great to expand the menswear lines and see how he worked with both modern/edgy clothes vs. classic tailleurs. i dont see anyone else doing this job when karl retires

We all know karl wont retire he will die at chanel in the studio working like a mad man the next creative director needs to be a woman imagine muccia for chanel that would be amazing for a few seasons.

I do see the reasons that he should go to Chanel. In addition to his friendship with Karl, his aesthetic would translate perfectly. Remember that Coco was raised in a convent? Hedi's austere vision would be perfect.

However, I think going back to YSL would suit Hedi well, also. His F/W 06/07 show was definitely a tribute to Le Smoking, and his theme of androgyny matches Saint Laurent's.
