There aren't many around, but some of those websites I listed do have some British internships. One of my friends applied for an internship with a London (fashion retail) company through the company's own website, you could have a look at places like that as well perhaps.

If you're located in the US, I've seen a couple (from Ford for example) on Craigslist.

Otherwise, I think you could just contact them anyway to inquire about internships or work experience.
