I really like the wide leg Judi Rosen ones, but the sizing is strange (XS-L instead of by waist.) I wonder how difficult it will be to get a good fit?

i was thinking the same , but some stores and brands do that , i guess the only way to find out is to try them on. it says to size up , because they are really fit.......well if anyone has tried them on please do tell , how they fit , they look nice , but its all in the fit.....

I've bought the miss sixty high waisted ones and they are incredible! The fit is great and I personally have been waiting a long time for a pair that I thought would be worth investing in as I love the high waisted trend

well i think if you are going to wear the high waist, you definitely have to have definition in your waist, as in, must curve in like a victoria secret model shape.
if you are straight its will be weird.

is it dark/raw/non-distressed denim?

i wear highwaist levis eco's 501 but i'm ready to buy a good fitted miss60 if the denim is dark enough

I like this model, because it is not too high, and the legs aren't too wide.

Acne "Tube" Lena jeans

Hey Lena,
um I'll try and answer your question. They are quite dark but still more blue than a dark navy or something like that. They have lightened patches around the knee so I guess you could call that distressed.Other than that nothing else has been done to them. I don't know what raw means sorry.

This is what they actually wrote with the label if this helps
'This garment has been treated in order to give a weathered appearance and particular characteristics to the fabric. All the finishing operation have been performed manually. Homogeneity is impossible. Variations and nuances of shading give this product its own personality, as everyone is different from the order. The finishing can change by use and time.'
Then it just goes on to caring for the jeans.

There are already pics of them on this thread but I don't mind posting some pics if you'd like to see them again.

ok i figured it out.
the only jeans that look like they make sense for high waist is when they are accentuating the postitive and in a dark or un-blasted, unwashed looking wash.
like those acne one's up there look like mommy jeans.
it's because the wash is making the rise look crazy.
i'd just stick to black

yeah...straight leg jeans have that mom jean territory . lol...i think high waists look good wide leg (but fitted at the hips and front) or super skinny (in dark washes ...stone wash no no)

Lena, there is unwashed version of Miss Sixty high waisted jeans, at least on the runway shows, i was planning to look for it in the stores next week

That is really gorgeous! Even though its a little high, it really accents the waistline making it curvy. I love it.

i really love the whole high waisted jeans thing. mine were really cheap and i styill love them, they fit perfectly and look quite cool too! :)

meh, i hate being curvy at moments like these, i don't think i'd look good on high waisted...anything

they are higher waisted but not too high waisted ( about 9.75 inches on my jean aprox 10 inches ) and look awesome with my black platform stilettoes ...they hug my but and front but arent tight through the leg , its fit through the front and then falls straight down. One of the best fitting jeans ive tried ,seriously IMO. www.pinkmascara.com

if they're one of the best you've had pls post pics of you in them (or xpost in waywt)--i'm curious! :] they look good on that model--especially the rear view.
