High Waisted Jeans #1

Disco, I'm your size, so I'm curious too!! They seem like the perfect high-waisted jeans..

So... I totally bought a pair! I am not skinny AT ALL so I was worried I would look awful. But, I have to say, I love em! They're super dark wash, VERY wide-legged (but straight all the way down) with no pockets except for in the back, but the pocket holes are flat so they don't make my butt bigger. The only problem is they have a bunch of intricate buttons in the front so using the bathroom is a chore as I have to unbutton 10+ just to slip them off  I so wish I had a picture!

I guess according to some here they look best on people with hips and a defined waist? That may be why they work for me because I have large hips and a small in proportion waist. I wore them first with a kimono top and flats and I loved the look :)

They look a lot like this except with lots of buttons in the front

that's because frankie b is a woman designer and she did dittos. every jean line that fits me is made by a woman, bottom line.
i find that to be true with jeans that fit my small yet curvy frame.

I really like the ones in 758 but you defiantely have to have a certain kind of body it seems. They seem very difficult to pull off even on thin people. I would even wear the ones in 758 low wasted. I think this fad is just a little too reminiscent of the 'mom jean.'

I really like the wide leg Judi Rosen ones, but the sizing is strange (XS-L instead of by waist.) I wonder how difficult it will be to get a good fit?

I thought the same thing, but I have the Judi Rosen high-waisted shorts and jeans. They are soo sooo flattering on the bum and surprisingly fit really well. I'll have to take some pics to post.

I attached two pics of me in some high-waisted Diesels.

I like the idea of a high waisted jean. I really do. But I avoid it like the plague right now because I've developed a sort of a tummy after not working out in so long. Im afraid Im going to look pregnant and dumpy. I don tknow, Im still waiting for a perfect pair. So Im thinking that a nice stiff fabric that wont pucker or wrinkle will do better in un-accentuating the tummy?

I think it just depends on the person's body type. Certain people can pull it off and look great in it....but i definately could not pull that off.....

so here is me in my sass and bide high waisted- i was soo worried i ordered a 26 as sass and bide for me usually fits small..but they fit perfect and was flattering...:flower:

those are cute, what do they look like from behind? are there no pockets, because the front has?

For you girls that own the dittos jeans, did you take your normal size? :)

my j brand paperbag waist came today and I love them - they're loose so no mom butt and since I'm still loving the paperbag waist everything's swell. I suppose they're more true waist though.

mirrra, late in coming, but thanks for posting the miss60 item

it's a great denim shade but a bit too 'flashy' and more highwaisted than i had in mind

the red dittos posted at last page are not even highwaist as for the acne from last page, the denim shade is all wrong..
the silouhete of those white diesel shorts

i need more high/real waist options than my Eco 501's from Levis

i'm seriously afraid i'm tiring people by wearing them everytime i'm in the mood for jeans
