you cant wear skinny jeans to work .....party yes! but work big NO NO , why dont you go to Express , they have tonnes of good high waisted pants , another thing the pant should be grazing the ground otherwise it looks off btw , these are bad *** I wear them a lot and 3-4 girls at my office bought the same pant but in different colors . http://www.expressfashion.com/products.jsp?category=Her&groupid=17&page=3

Well I work in an office for a globally very well known Finnish company and I can totally wear skinny jeans to work! As long as they are not like super faded or anything tacky like that. I wear them with boots and high heels, doesnt matter. So do the other assistants /younger people here. Of course I have some important meeting, I will wear trousers or skirt.
Ummm. Finland doesnt have Express :innocent:, not my cup of tea anyway.

I will see how the ones I ordered look like..Im a bit scared.

This girl is sporting the Cheap Monday Eiffels. She is in a weird pose but they dont look too bad on her:

I agree with marylauda, its like her waist disappeared

That style is insane! :woot: It's kinda cool but probably meant to be shocking.. not too practical.

with better top (more flowy and bigger) tucked in it might look better..

Oh god, those are hilarious. Just terrible. Not even ironic. I can only imagine what her butt looks like.

You need to be a giant to pull the Eiffels off IMO.
I don't think it's too bad. It's funny.

hahahaha

Skinny jeans to work in corporate office is just silly esp in North America , its way too rocker and street and not to mention you will get the wrong attention at a corporate office or conservative environment . Well most Scandinavian people ive seen just wear skin tight pants anyways so no surprise there .
Those Eiffel Tower jeans are THE MOST HIDEOUS THING I HAVE EVER SEEN ,she looks like Humpty dumpty not to mention even more fat.

Well I think anywhere in Europe you can wear skinny jeans to office if they are not ripped or faded.

My bf worked in a pretty strict office in the states (he is American) and he wore skinny pants and black jeans as business pants and that was fine. He even got compliments from the managers about his style...:innocent:I also worked in a small office in Cali and it was totally casual and I could wear skinny jeans as well.

I guess in the States office wear is much stricter which is not necessarely a good thing..and yes I love the fact that most of the people in Scandinavia (and Europe) have a great and fashion forward style! You cant say that about the States really...

back to topic though...the girl with the Eiffels should wear a loose shirt and a long oversized cardigan.. then it would look great.

That would be an improvement, but then what's the point of wearing such a high waist if you're just going to cover it? Better to stick with a lower rise and not deal with that waistband cutting into your midsection.

Well I think wearing skinny jeans to work looks highly unproffessional , narrow trousers yes but skinny jeans hell no esp if your skinnies look like those eiffel tower jeans lol , looks disrespectful in a corporate environment obvious if your in small dinky office it doesnt matter but when yor dealing with lots of different cultures , a degree of conservatism becomes mandatory.

^Well I cant say the company Im working for but even you might own an electronic equipment from this company. We are located in a business park and have over 2000 employees here, from different cultures. And still a lot of the management assistants wear skinny jeans..its totally accepted. Like I said, as long as they are not ripped, faded or anything like that. Meaning dark blue, black, grey and pairing it with a cardigan or buttonup shirt etc.

I just got a new pair of skinny high waisted from H&M in dark blue color. Ill try to take pics. I love them even though I dont really buy jeans from H&m like ever. :D

i definitely would not mind working at a place that allows dark blue skinny jeans or nice looking jeans period. i mean seriously, unless you work front office or sales there's no reason why you should be forced to wear slacks or a skirt. anyway, at places where i used to work connected with school (e.g. behind the scenes @ museums) i wore jeans all the time.

also younger more progressive corporations allow jeans or a less strict dress code--steve jobs does product presentations in those hideous 90s jeans of his. i'd rather see a change in culture...
