High Waisted Jeans #1

i definitely would not mind working at a place that allows dark blue skinny jeans or nice looking jeans period. i mean seriously, unless you work front office or sales there's no reason why you should be forced to wear slacks or a skirt. anyway, at places where i used to work connected with school (e.g. behind the scenes @ museums) i wore jeans all the time.

also younger more progressive corporations allow jeans or a less strict dress code--steve jobs does product presentations in those hideous 90s jeans of his. i'd rather see a change in culture...

I agree. Im definately rooting for freedom of expression. :) They should make more skinny slacks...that would be a fun change for work. :)

BTW, I went to H&M and tried on those flared high waisted 70s jeans (H&M Trend). They didnt really make my butt smaller, actually it gave me more saddlbacks lol. They looked ok though, maybe I needed smaller tighter size.. I might get them someday...

H&M makes the most ghetto quality jeans , its horrendous and the denim is stiff like cardboard , I tried their sqn skinnies , it was like slipping into cardboard , so a saddleback should be least of your worries when the denim quality is so sh*tty.

Well the quality was not bad actually. They were really soft. H&M trend is a bit better than average H&M. Besides, thats the only place Ive seen those flares here in Finland...They were better than these anyway (below). These are the ones I mailordered and I will definately return them. They look ridiculous and clownish:

Then again, these are my H&M highwaists. The new ones I told about. Much much better and sexier!:

Maybe I will get those H&M trends next time Im in Helsinki...

miss60, the second pair looks so much better than the first! i'm glad you can return the hideous mail-order ones.

miss6o, I love the second pair on you! looks awesome!

Has anyone tried 18th Amendment's high waisted jeans, like Lollibrigida?

IF you read the title it says high waisted jeans , those suspender pants are PANTS not JEANS , and they are all wrong , they have pleats LOL ,,ewwww. Those jeans are better but you have these scrunchy lines at the front which indicates cheap quality denim and it looks bad in person , I had a friend who wore jeans like with lines in the front it looks bad but those jeans are better but you should compare it with another jean rather than pleated mom pants LOL. Im telling you would look good in high waisted flares , if you can rock this **** of those jeans which are very hard to pull off , you will look good in high waisted flares but tight through the knee since it will slim your thigh and the flare will balance your pear shape. But those jeans are too high it looks masochistic .

really? how are they bad quality

I tried the colbert and the rogers at intermix ewwwww , they really scrunch up in the front and the denim is rough , also very expensive.

miss60, I actually like the 1st too! Maybe without the overall part.. but they look nice on you. The second ones are hot for sure though! :flower:

on second look actually they look sort of cute and kitsch , maybe with heel they would look better but the second looks more sexier the first looks equally comfier so the choice is sexy or comfort.

I know they are pants but they are closest to the high waisted flares that I could get for now. I will definately return them cause they are hidious. I think the H&M ones I found (high waist, flare) were much better. Those are the only things in Finland at the mo.

I love those skinny H&Ms I got. I think they compliment my figure even though Im a pear. The quality is not crap at all! They are very stiff and clean looking. They are not torture, no no!

Well thanks. I will still return them. They are too huge even though it was smallest size...I was wearing heels...they were soo long on the bottom. :S

you should pair a voluminous blouse with those jeans Miss Sixty , tight top and tight bottom makes it look a bit like a sausage casing , a looser top creates a nice balance.

miss60, I think those jeans look great on you with the tight top; I also am sure they would look great on you any way you choose to wear them. :flower:

sausage casing? I don't think so.
