finally found a pair that i like and that fits well...

not wide leg though...just high waisted (at my natural waist) with a side zip
and really skinny with a zip at the ankle....

and they are from uniqlo which means that they were only $49...:p

*some people will remember my anti designer jeans attitude...:innocent:...

very happy camper right now..

I love highwaisted jeans. I have a pair by COH and H&M. I like to wear them with a top and loose blazer or a tank top tucked in when I'm feeling sessy. I think the key is for them to have a good fit in the butt area.

Actually for me 9-10 inch rise is more comfortable and it is for lots of women , lots of the time with low rise , the waistband cuts in and it pains, and the whole whale tail thing isnt pretty , so in any case a low rise doesnt mean comfort neccesarily.

...many women wear clothes that are too tight for them to begin with...
but i agree, it's certainly my personal preference that i don't like feeling the need to pull up my pants every time i sit or squat.
but whatever...most women can try out highwaists again and if they don't like it--great--at least we all have options now either way!

i just bought a pair of sass and bide hulsey glides on sale for ---- 45dollars!! originally around 260. they are so flattering on me, i can strut them with a minute heel or no heel.

the leg is not as big because i got it in a 24... which is cut a lil diff than the other sizes. more narrow in the thigh, and smaller leg in general. the color is reminiscent of raw denim. great vintage/tomboy feel.

the trick with me (and i am pretty busty) is to make sure my legs are clearly defined. these sass jewans really accentuate slender legs by clearly definig the upper thigh area. the straight silhouette also helps. i look terrible in flares.

"Whale tail"!! haha that is funny! Never heard that before.

I cannot stand a waistband higher than my hips... it feels uncomfortable.

Guess it's down to body shapes, personal preference and what you're used to?

i recently got a pair of vintage white high-waisted levis. they're a little big on me, but overall i like them

yeah I prefer jeans which are straight and wide , i like flares too but , I find the straight and wide denim silhouette fresh and now . Those those sass and bides look good but those shoes are gross and where did you get them for 45 buck?? I was look at H&M swedish site , it has online shopping , their wide leg jeans are pretty good and affordable, I was impressed with their fall collection.
