bleah...what is a good comfortable brand for high waists? not dittos, not denimbirds, nothing near/over 200$.

I think I can pull it off, I have long legs, a really looong torso and wide, feminine hips.

Yeah, I noticed that Cheap Monday carries a lot of high waisted designs...
I am worried about the stretch, too... I like a little bit of stretch, but cheap material usually stretches like crazy...If that's the case with CM, I won't buy them.

I would say seven for all mankind , Rich and Skinny , Joes jeans , IMO ,awesome material , reasonable price ( sales are going on right now! ) and damn comfortable . IF you want something still less than 40 bucks , I suggest H&M and Mango , H&M featured these jeans for their summer campaign , these were about 9.5 inch rise and were more of any everyday type jean not a super high waisted fashion jean. I got these summer style high waist jeans for about 20 bucks at guess...AWESOME ...its made with indian denim , which is quite soft ,the styling is great..I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THESE

your so right about crap material leyspersound , I personally have seen lot of stores carry jeans made with thick denim with elastic ....a sign of cheapily made denim . btw here is the link to the jean I bought at Guess, they easily look like jeans which would be 150 bucks and up but at less than 25 bucks , its a total steal!

i saw a cute pair form lux of urbanoutfitters. they reminded me of the jeans baby wore in dirty dancing . I LOVE those. the denimis probably nasty. nay other places to get that sort?

for some reason that makes her look about 5.5 and more bottom heavy than she is. she wouild look better with a straighter/leaner cut. heels too.

I think she looks awesome , she is 5'2 -5'3 in person , I have seen her, but I would have worn heels personally and those look to be 27 inch flares,which need sky high heels , so she pulled it off wearing flats which is rare , you get a long lean line with heels , but she looks so cool. I wear flats with jeans less than 23 inches , greater than that you need some heel of some sort ,which is no problem for me , I cant live without heels . Actually had she worn a little heel , that "bottom heavy " affect goes , another thing , These jeans look to be of a thick material , which will cause that in any jean .

Both hillary duff and Rachel Bilson are petite about 5'1-2 without heels , but in the photos they look quite tall, because of the elongating effect of the jeans.

i actually think hilary still look sthe same height.

rachel looks amazing. just amazing. everytime she wears the flares, she loks perfect.
cheryl cole loooks ehhh. (the brunette with shades) she loks really boyish in them. no curves. I have seen her look better. I think its a terrible angle for a photo.

also kirsten dunst is hiding her perfect legs under all this voluminous fabric. it is her best feature, which is why i think maybe a slimmer high waist would be best.

Well , its summer , so a tight fit jean would be an insane idea in new york humidity trust me , I live here , everything isnt about looking sexy , comfort should be there and thats why I think kirsten is awesome she wore such a wide jean with flats and still looks damn cool, wide leg jeans/pants and shorts are your best friend here during the hot summer unless a person wants to bake in the heat and a get a rash. Cheryl cole looks good in jeans but yeah lol, she wears those jeans a lot but she lost a lot of weight , she looked better when had more weight on. Well your super tall Gia , so you can tell really tall girls apart but for people who are petite or average height , and Hillary is very petite, for her to look 5'6 in a photo is a miracle , I have seen her in person at the Houston Galleria . Kirsten Dunst isnt 5'7 , THATS FOR SURE , at most 5'4.5 if that , she is taller than hillary duff (who they say is 5'4 LOL ) she isnt she is just a little over 5 foot , im 5'6 ,so I could see she was about a foot shorter than me , she was wearing flats and skinnies that day. These hollywood girls lie about their height most of the time.

Kirsten's look like well-worn raw denim Acne tubes, if that wasn't already said. They're the same cut and color as mine.

tubes are narrower...they may even look much better on Dunst than whatever she has on. also i don't think dunst is wearing flats--if you look closely it's a low wedge heel.

yeah, very vaguely reminds me of Charlotte Gainsbourg...except Ms. Gainsbourg has a better fit and cut.
