circa 2003 , people would do that with skinnies and the rest is history , it will catch on in the mainstream .

best high waisted shorts(btw there is a separate forum for that) is shopbop and if you want something more economical , H&M , dont go to Forever21 ,my friends made that mistake of buying high waist shorts from there and jeans and the material was very cheap and stiff, they returned it , so go to H&M . I think urban outfitters also has high waist shorts but they are over priced IMO unless they are on sale .

I love to see highwaisted jeans on curvier women, IMO, it makes their butts look MAGICAL.

^^^im not such a fan of corset waist jeans , they look good in pants , but those dereon jeans are disgusting , actually come to think of it the whole dereon line is

lol i actually hate dereon's style too, you should see how tacky the clothing for plus size women are! But i do find those jeans cute, they would go nicely imo with a white satin ruffle top and some black mary janes.

I still love high waist jeans, but of course, it will become more mainstream and will go out of fashion, just like polka dots. Especially the shorts.

i can not sit down in them and can never have a good dinner with them on. lol even smoothies from juice jamba expand me

I doubt high waisted bottoms will go out any time soon , they just entered the fashion mainstream .

i guess, but in NY, they are all on sale for around 50-80% off.
Maybe next year, though I doubt stores will try it if they had to lose.

I loved my corset jeans but felt silly wearing them out of the house, (esp since I have an hourglassy shape).. I ended up cutting them to reguar rise.

I hate high-waisted jeans. However, if a model or a person can pull them off, then it's fine I guess. I prefer seeing commercial jeans like the stuff people wear from Hollister or American Eagle..

Hollister , AE and Abercrombie is just tasteless bland commercial clothes , uninspired and boring
