How do you make your skin smooth and flawless?

water water water...! and don't wear makeup to bed... apparantly i heard ur meant to double the amount of water u drink when you have your period im just starting to get into that habit

I have been very, very lucky overall, but I try to drink a lot of water, which helps a lot. I wash with Dove unscented soap and I use Olay Complete moisturizer on my face because it's very light, leaves no residue, doesn't feel oily, and basically makes my skin feel wonderful. Otherwise, I try to keep in the habit of exfoliating and I always try to remember moisturizer all over, especially in the winter when it's really dry.

I've heard that using lots of foundation messes up your skin. Keep hair off of your face as well, and don't pick at blemishes. Most importantly, use sunscreen. Oh yeah, and don't smoke. Both of those make you look older much earlier.

There are other threads on this I think. Do a search.

um...have good genes? i have a friend with flawless smooth skin, she could swim in grease and she wouldn't break out. it's in the genes.

Water. It can improve your skin sooo much.

Last year I gave up on soda, and started drinking Evian everyday. M
My skin cleared with a few weeks!
And it STAYED clear.

Light exfoliation every day is key, I use Estee Lauder's Idealist Micro D scrub, and the Idealist serum...it works wonders with my skin... you might want to ask for a sample before you buy it though, because some people have experienced uncomfortable results with this product...funny thing, everyone I know loves it.. might be something with the weather  A healthy diet works, but it doesn't make a diff for me... water, water is key also, six glasses a day, you will shine like a bulb,...you will pee like a bull also

depressing.... :(

Under the shower, slightly rub away dead skin with your fingers. It's cheap and effective! ;)

I have found SK-II's Skin Essence, and Creme de la Mer to be very effective.

Though those two items are some of the more iconic, and therefore debated items.

I use cetaphil to cleanse, and fine sugar to exfoliate. A facial here and there is always nice too.

Totally - Water. I used to be a soda/iced tea aholic and just recently started doing ONLY water and already theres a major improvement in my skin.

I def agree about water! The more, the better! A good night's rest is also key, along with sunscreen. I also use an exfoliating scrub everyday. Just cheap Queen Helene Oatmeal and Honey scrub. It was recommended to me in Sally's by this woman who was shopping and looked so vibrant and young. When she told me and my friend her real age (fifty something) we were so surprised because she didn't look her age at all!
