How Often Do You Get Your Facials?

Honestly I try to go once a month. It makes me feel better, so I make it a monthly gift to my self. In the Los Angeles area my favorite is Amadeus Spa for pampering. For Brows I highly recommend Anastasia.

IMHO, facials are relaxing (really dont to much for my skin though) and that but i wouldnt go spending money on it (unless you are getting extractions or whatever)

If I go regurally I go every 3 mo. if I skip and don't get one for a year, my skin gets really dirty, lots of blackheads and stuff. So when I go back to the salon I'll do 2 a month apart and then it gets back to normal. It's also important to find a perutable facialist/cosmetologist.

I've read that the skin renews itself every 28 days (average), and hence you should get a facial every month.
I don't know if it is true.
Personally I'm satisfied with my routine so I wouldn't get one.

i don't like facials...
i have them at several different places...
even minor dermabrasion...but i prefer to take care of my skin myself...
even at this age...but i do notice a difference if i get lazy and don't take care of myself...

whereas...when i was younger...i could be really lazy and i always still looked ok...

I went for a facial for the 1st time and the lady told me to go back once a every 2-3 months...
It was nice because it is personnalized! but it hurt!!

it is really really good for my skin except i hate when she masages my shoulders at one point, it feels so horrible i want to smack her

You can customize your facial.
Tell her not to massage your shoulders, she'll be glad to skip that step.

Some people get a facial every other day and they have great skin (model type).
Weekly (good) facials could achieve that result.

the best thing is extraction because its so hard to do yourself, i always end up marking my face with the stupid metal instrument
i'd rather i can just fall asleep while someone else does it precisely

Make sure he/she is a pro. Diploma on the wall would be a good proof.

Price is not always an indication of how good something is, but a cheap facial can be a critical mistake. Be indulgent, pay as much as you have to.

Not often enough. I cant go to often cos i have sensitve skin. I go about every 12 weeks. Enought time for ym face to heal from the last one.

If you need healing after a facial I would think about having another one.

I have never had one. I should go to a proper whatchmacallit...dermatologist first and see what can be done about the state of my beleagured skin. At the moment, I think you could read fortunes in the topography of my face.

They don't remove all bleackheads, just the biggest ones, but if you want to get rid of them all (and you have a lot) then you'll need more facials than one or two. I really like facials because they are so relaxing but when it comes to extractions it hurts like hell
I go every 2 or 3 months because I don't have much money.
