How to look stylish on a bicycle?

I bought a Gazelle Toer Populair 8sp (link: http://www.gazellebicycles.com.au/gazelle-2010-collection/toer-populair-8-speed.html?task=view ) to replace my exceedingly uncomfortable mountain bike. I pick it up tomorrow. So excited! Though I think my transformation from sweaty butch lycra monster to style maven who rides to work in suits and heels will take some time

I like those Bern helmets as well.

my friend did that in SF. It looked like so much fun, had I been there I would've probably joined him, too.

Bringing this back because, I'm thinking of giving myself a bike as a Christmas present .. I have a lovely one that needs some repairing but I find it impractical, it's more of a mountain-type of bike.. and what I'm looking for is a folding bike, mostly because this city isn't biker-friendly at all so you pretty much have to hop in and out of transportation in order to find suitable places to ride, I'm also planning to do some traveling next year and I want to take it with me on trains/airplanes.. so it'd be much better if I could fold it. Any ideas? the ones I've found are over 500 dlls.. but being no bike expert, I might be a little lost in the price/brand area..

Oh my gosh, it's such a cute bike! Congrats. I am transitioning from bike commuting to working from home this week, and I'm actually a bit sad that I will have less bike time during the day. I have to go to the gym now. Ugh.

My bike has a flat tire at the moment, not very stylish. It's pretty close to falling apart anyway, wich is a shame since I do everything by bike.

This is GREAT! I just bought a vintage bike a week ago (so heavy!) and I'm looking to outfit myself and my bike with necessary accessories! I'm feeling flowy dresses as well as those easy pajama pants (though not too wide leg). I'm also thinking of getting an equestrian helmet as a fashionable alternative.

Bern makes really cute helmets, my helmet is from Pryme, but it's awfully bulky. I'd love to upgrade to Bern or Nutcase, but there's no real reason to, besides looking more stylish. It's functional! So, yeah.

I guess you'd have to live in the US to get excited thinking about what to wear in a bicycle Everyone here rides their bikes everywhere. I guess that's what we're known for...bicycles and wind mills Just remember to wear something you can button up, remove or that lets your skin breathe. I hate riding my bike in my town, so many mean hills (and of course it's raining and super windy all year long)

Oh no, that's not my bike. That's something I found on Tumblr. This is my bike - it just got new handlebars

I actually kind of can't stand dutch/mixte frames. I live on a 4th floor apartment, and having a flat top tube makes it so much easier to haul up the stairs.

I went and checked out the Outlier showroom over the weekend. They have a Women's riding pant, it's waterproof 4 way stretch twill. Super nice. I need a pair stat.
