strictly on the tube thing i prefer Hussein's version to yohji's
at least this is stylisized and not all over the place..

i was so expecting something groundbreaking following his stellar fw05 collection

i think that he was actually MUCH more wearable when he was doing dresses that turned into tables...
this stuff is not nice...imo...

btw. i'm seriously just waiting for him to just design a collection based on puzzle pieces or interlocking modular parts that mutate infinitely...like soft legos.

Softgrey,that's precisely what I've been thinking. I'd rather much see his eaten away ode to "Flashdance" than I would this. It's as if he's trying to be overly conceptual and overly commercial at the same time. Not a nice balance,if you ask me.

Here, the tubes seem to assimilate better with the dresses whereas Yohji's tubes were like extras. I rather like this. Everything but the bizarre print dress.
