That's so funny-I never focused on them till you just said something about it!

I need to go to Saks and check out one IRL if they have one-it's really a cute bag and I like the satchel style, too. I wish he made the satchel style in python-but may just have to take part of my next check and get this one.

Reminds me of creamy milk chocolate.

How delicate is python for every day?? I know someone who had an auth(silverado) and it seemed pretty sturdy.

Thanks for the review, kaygirl! I tend to be kind of picky when it comes to details like neat trim, seams, etc and it's annoying when it's not really good. The HW thing doesn't bug me as much because the auth probably scratches, too....I notice he just put up the new black python, too.B)

Handbagdiva The alignment on J's artsy MM looks pretty good, can't find any flaws. The bottom alignment is spot on. I mean the heatstamp and thread on the inner tag are off but who is going to inspect that. Also the engraving on the rings are too deep, but no one will look at those too closely either. I think the most important aspect is the alignment of the patterns and the handle. I can't really tell if it's his lighting but the handle looks a bit dull to me. In pics the auth one has a pinkish hue and it has a bit of a shine.

kaygirl I'm very tempted by the ivory Marcie J has on sale. Is the Marcie lighweight? Also, what is the flap in front for? This sounds silly but I Google-d for the longest time and can't find any information about it. Is it another pocket? lol

No problem Chelsea. Jacky agreed to take it back from me but after using it, decided to keep it.
Bisoubis, its a light bag. Well, not as light as a bbag but u you don't notice the weight..the front flap opens to reveal a front pocket. Very useful for the phone. And inside the bag, there is another pocket for keys etc. I like it coz it's easy to get in n out. Also, the straps don't fall off my shoulder like the city does. I can take pictures if you want but can only do it tomorrow. It has slouch now after use. If you're not picky bout the leather trim, then the ivory is a great buy. I think j's whiskey is not right as the handles are suppose to be darker than the bag. Catty's look better but is more expensive.

Now that you mention it, it concerns me that the vachetta might not be the right color. Did you by chance take a peek at the picture of the handle on his GM? It's a more clear shot. I would post the link for your convenience...but ya know. Does all auth LV vachetta usually start out the same tone, or did they make the Artsy different?

Thank-you diormouse that is good news indeed I was really hoping that T&D would make Bleu Roi with RGGH I just love that combo but I guess I will have to settle for GGH

It's good to hear they're considering Olive--I have been yearning for a good GREEN. Does anyone else here miss a good green? I'm a fan of blackened colors because they go with a lot of outfits (esp in the workplace). I loved dark cherry, and am sad that I didn't know about NBF bags back then.

boinquo, I've Black Cherry Twiggy from the boys. I would love to get one in City size. It's a chameleon colour and I love how the shade/tone of red varies under different lighting conditions.

Did a lot of research when i was helping my friend by the donna hobo and the black/brass rocco...and saw how there were 3 different stud shapes and color combos...keeping Jacky on his toes.
I love the luggage color AW rocco... Alas there are none at the Barneys warehouse sale..still a strong selling bag here.

Here's a question- has anyone ever sent Jacky an authentic to copy? I wonder if he would be interested in that idea.
