Have any of you guys compared jacky wallets to wallets in an LV store? I don't always get an SA to show me stuff at the store (so busy...and I don't look like I'll buy stuff, LOL)

I went about a month ago and looked at auth LV wallets to compare to my Jacky damier zippy and vernis zippy. Virtually identical for the damier and the vernis except for the interior on the vernis zippy was smoother on the auth. Honestly I was about to laugh out loud when the SA told me the price of the vernis zippy- it felt SO cheap!

I dunno, paying that much for a wallet is such a rip off IMO

On a side note, does anyone think its kinda funny that catty has perfume on her picasa now? lol

So my BDR RH Work and GSH black Flat Clutch arrived in the mail today. What can I say? WOW! The leather is matte, very little shine, and feels silky and thick. Holy shizzz! The boys really outdid themselves on this batch, I know it's been said before.

I've seen pics of some other BDR T&D bags that were very distressed. I did take the precaution of asking T&D for smooth, matte leather if possible. Don't know if they purposefully sent me it or if I just lucked out, but anyway I'm VERY happy!

Does this thread have a version for replica clothing? I really want to get a Moncler coat but I can't find any any on iOffer with accurate-looking pictures. There are so many sellers that copy one another pics - I can't tell who is reliable or not. Has anyone bought a Moncler coat?

Anthricate Work from T&D. The flash distorts the colour quite a bit in the close ups so look at the picture with me holding the bag for a more accurate look at the colour

jihanemo, I dont know if there's a rep thread, but I do have an auth moncler Tibet down vest and I've looked on ioffer and the ones that do provide their own pics look different from the real deal. I've seen a ton of people in NY with rep Monclers-- there's something about the sheen of the fabric that is off, and the fill of the down that isnt quite right. If it helps, it's a good time right now to be getting moncler w/ all the sales, I know saks had some monclers at 40% off, and I've even seen them at the barneys warehouse sale (tho not the classic pieces) for a decent price. ^ I would say it's pretty spot on too, it doesn't really have too much of a blue or green undertone that I heard someone complaining about with the last batch. The colour is very well balanced (I really thought the undertone would come through more) I'm very impressed with it

What is everyones opinion of a chanel Jumbo vs a chanel Maxi?

I'm trying to decide between the two to place an order with Fang, but can't find much info or pictures on the web of the maxi in action.

I guess I'm just afraid of the maxi looking like a messenger bag...lol

Glimmer163, I have the jumbo from Fang Fang and when I received it I thought it was way too big! Now I like it cause I got used to it and I find the size perfect. I think that any size past the Jumbo would be too big. If you have a Chanel store in your area, I would recommend you go compare the sizes because I had a shock when I received my bag!

On another note, anyone tFSer interested in joining me to ask Jacky to make the Givenchy melancholia? He seems to be back at doing Givenchys, would be cool if he did this style too!

Can anyone chime in about NBF handle stretching? My city handles are not bad but not the same as when they were new, and I've had the bag for about two months.

if you carry your bag on a regular basis, the handles will stretch out...
my newest T&D bag (a black RH city) hasn't stretched out enough to wear it on the shoulders, but i've only carried it a few times...

most of the handles on my authentic bals have stretched (again, except my newest addition)...

glimmer, i think the jumbo is 12" and the maxi is 13" and the jumbo straps aren't as long as the maxi...

I have an authentic Maxi and LOVE the size. I'm 5'2" and petite. It does not look like a messenger bag at all!!! It's my favorite bag. I just got a rep 227 Reissue from Fang and I feel like it's a little small, but I still love it!

Hi, I haven't posted to TFS in ages, but I thought I would just let you all know that I bought fendi spy from T and D 5 years ago now, and it is still in the most amazing condition. The leather is soft and buttery, the colour has faded ever so slightly with wear, and it is still my favourite handbag.
If you aren't sure about the quality of their bags I can safely say that out of all my handbags this is the best quality leather one I've ever had.

I'm going to try and post pictures on the other thread, but bear with me, I've never done it before!
