has anyone else her bought a bbag from Dm because i have one and my cousin has like 3 or 4...i think they look great...i am thinking of ordering another, what are your opinions??

I had one -- it was my first replica purchase ever about a year and a half ago. It really didn't hold a candle to the real thing. The leather was too thick and stiff and not soft and slouchy like it should be. The hardware was the wrong color. I think a lot of the details were off.

But that being said...there was nothing wrong with the bag itself. It was leather, and nice leather at that. It just wasn't a mirror image of the real thing.

As for T&D, they FINALLY answered one of my emails and told me the bbags would be about 2 weeks away.......that was about 3 weeks ago. I'm dying for a day (hobo). It seems 2 weeks is their standard answer.

Shelly, be careful with DM, his stuff is really hit and miss. A friend of mine and myself ordered quite a few things from him and 80% of them went back. I will say though that I got a LV Alma monogram from him and its gorgeous. My friend ordered a BV woven leather bag in ivory and the bag looked like plastic, the leather even smelled funny like plastic. He seems to drop ship, I don't know who his supplier is. When he had us send back some stuff he had us send part to his home address in Canada and part back to someone in China. I bought a Fendi Spy in black when they first came out and the bag was so horrible it sat in my closet and I was disgusted with myself for ordering it each time I opened the door up. It was pretty pricey too, if I remember it was around $260, the leather was pure crap. He was nice about letting me return it, but it cost me $30 for him to ship to me, then another $30 for me to ship back, then another $30 for me to choose something else. It turned out to be a pretty darn expensive bag. I ended up getting a brown Paddy from him in its place, its nice but I believe the thread color is off, other than that the bag is nice. So, be careful before you order from him, ask him a ton of questions and ask for close up pic's of the actual bag you will get. Dee

First, enormous kudos for SMKelly. Their bags are beautiful, but their shabby customer service isn't worth it.

To shimmer, I carried a Paddington for about a year and I'm 4'11". I don't think it looked awkward at all (but then again I don't have a problem carrying the oversized Muse, which probably looks ridiculous but which I love anyway). I think it's a good size - it fits a lot but doesn't look overpowering.

2 weeks? That's what they told us 2 weeks ago, and two weeks before that and two weeks before that and two weeks before that.

There seems to be a pattern here...

Tony and Dom seem to have been moving for the last two months and the BBags are a big pipe dream. The bags listed on their site right now are just the normal run of the mill bags the rest of the iOffer sellers are selling. I lost all hope of excellence from them when I received my Fendi honey hobo. What a bunch of hype. All the rest of you gals were delighted with your spy bags but mine hobo arrived looking and feeling like a limp dish rag. I am going to fill it up with "stuff" in order to plump it out and use it this fall. But quite honestly, the leather felt thin and limp and looked like it had been rolled thru imprinting rollers to get the large pebbled look. It has been in my closet stuffed with towels all summer to give it some shape. The price was way too high for that bag. I am pretty much finished with them. I will be surprised if their bbags are anything more than the others that are already on iOffer.

Re NBF: I specifically recall someone posting here that she had heard the hardware problems had been resolved, and that they were waiting on the leather shipment from Italy which should have arrived weeks ago. Now they are using the hardware as another excuse?! I guess they don't think we compare "notes." I have no idea what their problem is; surely IF they are really making these bags they need to sell them to recover all the money spent on the supplies. Why keep up this pretense? Why not just say the truth? I don't get it and I'm very disappointed in their response that it will be another 2 weeks since I've been hearing that since March!!

On another note, I see that Aafabag or however it's spelled, has goatskin B bags on IOffer. Haven't seen them; just heard that from another gal. Maybe she's got it together for these bags now? Take a look when you get a chance.

^^ abfabbag's goatskin bbags are no good. Someone else ordered one and after I think a couple of months finally got it and it was a huge disappointment. I would advise against buying one from her. I had ordered one but got impatient so asked her to send me something else. I decided on a taupe stam instead which unfortunately I haven't used since I got it! LOL! I wish I had gotten a dark brown, I'm not much for taupe!

Shelley, do you think some of his bags look like PC bags? Also, the pink bag has a close up of the hardware that all the replicas have a problem getting right, is it a bit too square? The leather also appears to be smooth. But I am not bbag expert so really have no idea. I'm just not sure that they look 'right' and he only has a feedbac of 2. I'll be interested in hearing other's opinions. I am willing to bet that once NBF bbags come out, we'll see a few other suppliers with new bbags.

I'm not impressed with the quality; many things are wrong including the hardware. I think Profitcome has better ones than these. Even though this guy is in the USA, he's still getting stock from China so you have the same problems with customs, etc. No good substitutions so far. And as for Abfabbag, I took a look there too, and no great shakes....I think she's getting those from Profitcome also. Oh well.

Hello all!

I was on a trip and now have returned... hope all you girls are thriving.

I remember a while back there was a chloe Edith crazy (in Whiskey) and people purchased from Rita, NBF, etc, etc, etc, and saw there were some differences in texture, shade, and quality, as well as huge price differences. I browsed back but could not find the specific posts describing the various differences, ideally I would like a bag that is cheaper, but what are your opinions?

Anyone remember which sellers offered the Whiskey edith in a rich deep shade of whiskey? (not a bright orange-y color) NBF, Rita, or someone else? I remember someone saying Rita's was softer? I may be completely switched on these.

I saw on NBF's site on ioffer they have a vanilla Stam, beautiful , but my concern would be the interior suede is made of pig skin . For those who don't mind, I think it look gorgeous...they say they have only 5 left.

I think those are their old stock which should still be really nice quality. I am waiting on a black patent Betty bag from them, I hope it will be alright
It's been forever for the Balenciagas...I've been on their 'list' for a sky blue one for most the year...I know they are moving and I hope they get things straight with their communication...it's so frustrating!
