I think T & D should just sell us the frigging bags already and send us all "good clips" when they ever get their act together.

I think someone else posted this, too.

I'm tired of the bs. I need the bbag style, for workpapers, etc., and have little patience left...esp., in light of their stupid attempts to smokescreen us with their new "offerings" of paddy's and novaks and cheap ediths.

Luna, I vote for a compromise. Sell us the bags before we go elsewhere and NEVER come back, then send us the stupid clips for free when they're made correctly.

Shelley

I don't think it would be easy to switch the clips once the bags are already made. Personally, I don't care of the shape of the clip is correct as long as the leather and the color of the hardware is. I wouldn't try to pass the bag off as real and I think it would be lame of anyone else to for that matter. Nobody but a Balenciaga expert would know the difference so who cares?

 If you were going to go elsewhere.. wouldn't you have already done that?

I dunno... it's not life or death for me if I get a Bbag within the next 2 weeks... Sure, I'd love to have one, but I can wait... and considering all of the other Bbags out there are pretty crappy from what I've seen. I guess it doesn't matter if I'm upset or not... I have to wait.

I just think there's a bit of an overreaction going on.. I mean, yea they've been telling us 2 weeks since March, I realize this. But I'm pretty damn sure that they want to make the $$$ asap...

I'm trying to give everyone the info that I get... and I keep getting told that the stuff I'm saying isn't what everyone else is told... makes me feel bad for even talking about them anymore..

:(

personally... I dont even carea bout the clip because I just want the Hobo!

SMKelly, I agree with what you said in regards to the bloody clips....I don't give a flip about the clips.

this whole NBF thing is getting really annoying.
I mean, I know I probably will buy a bBag when they're ready, but I certainly don't rate NBF as the best in terms of customer service any more.
Rita is head & shoulders above them when it comes to keeping you informed and actually coming up with the bags.
I mean, I know that they will probably be really good bBags and everything, but I kind of grudge them the money. Fair enough, they're great and we'll all buy them, and you can argue "you could have bought from anyone but you want a great one so you have to wait"; but does anyone else agree that the edge has been taken off an indulgent, treat-yourself purchase by all this brinkmanship and back & forth??
I was supposed to get a bBag for my last birthday - that was last September....they've been talking about these new ones since December, guys, so trouble with factories/suppliers or no, its kind of a long time to ask customers to hang on without getting pissed off...
I will scream if they list them and they're $300!!

PS & FYI - Rita's working on the Miu Miu Coffer - anyone who's thinking about one should try buying from her, as she's lovely (her details are a few pages back i think - the last time someone asked about it!)

Everyone on this thread is very nice and very helpful. Ladies, the moon is full, and emotions can rampant during a full moon.

As far as manufacturing goes, there are so many variables that take place that can go wrong. When hardware is ordered, it has to be in increments of 5,000 pieces er unit. It sounds like the hardware you are talking about consists of 2 or 3 pieces per side, so this is either 20,000 or 30,000 separate pieces that have to be purchased. Then a production run of bags is usually between 20 and 30 per color EACH color.

Maybe your guys don't know all these things. It sound like they are what we call "Pickers" who shop the various vendor stalls. They were probably promised one thing by the Vendor Manager, while yet a different scenario is reality in the various factories. Often the Vendor manager has no communication with the various factories that supply these stalls.

Then there are Runners who run the product from the factories to the stalls. So, the communication has to go from the Picker to the Vendor Manager to the Runner to the Factory Supervisor who then has to look for the right hardware and get it to the Line Manager who passes it on down to the Product Manager on the production line. Because of so many people who have to take care of this process, a lot of communication can slip through the cracks.

So, when a Picker promises you a specific product within a 90-day period, now you know the drill. It's just not possible!

I don't think is what is involved with T&D. They know what they're doing; they've been in this business for a very long time. They independently sourced the leather for these bags in Italy and that took much longer to get the correct leather after exchanging samples after samples. They have sourced all the individual components themselves so as to have complete control over every aspect of these bags construction. It's obvious that the whole project has just taken a lot longer than originally thought. Rather than over-estimate the time involved to complete the bags, they apparently way under-estimated the time to keep people "interested" and hoping they wouldn't lose their customers. This has resulted in the opposite reaction as people tire of their excuses no matter how valid or invalid. The bottomline here is the bags will appear when they are ready and not before. My advice is to simply ignore this whole thing and pretend you don't know any of this information. Go about your business, buy other bags that you like and when and IF these B bags are ready you can choose to buy or not buy. And yes, I'm sure the price will be much higher than past products simply because of all the labor and materials incurred to date, so don't be shocked. If too high, don't purchase - it's a simple decision. And no, I have no inside knowledge of their pricing - it's completely my own speculation and it may, in fact, be only slightly higher. It doesn't matter since the bags are not yet ready.
And oh, BTW, taking out your frustration on Luna is not fair; she has only tried to give updates. She has no control over their time-table or anything else. So let's please all take a moment and remember we are here for fun and sharing because of our passion for bags and keep it friendly. It's OK to vent in general, but please don't turn the venting into wrath at another member. HUGS to ALL.:flower: :flower:

^^ Nice, trendhaven. Who was the seller/ supplier? It looks like it's a lovely color and the leather looks great! Congrats!

who here has a muse?? :D should i go with profitcome, or is there any others you ladies recommend? :flower: thanks in advance!

^ I've been cyber-window-shopping for a Muse for a while. From all of my (great :p ) research so far, I'm thinking of getting a muse from ultimatebags.com . The price seems unbeatable and they actually look pretty decent (none of that lopsided problem that PC or a few other sellers seem to have)

^thanks!! that site looks pretty good! i just wish they'd put up the dimensions of the bags though..

^ I think they're the oversize (17x13) (I've been Muse cyber-window-shopping for far too long/I'm a loser that it's gotten to the point where I can sort of tell the size of muse just by staring at it  ), but you can email them just to confirm. From my research, apparently they reply quickly to emails as a tFS-er informs.
