I just read all the posts! hehe
According to
Mineral Beauty , bismuth oxychloride, by composition, has sharp edges, and when it heats up, it gets itchy because of that. So there, irritation occurs. I usually ignore the itchiness sometimes, but it really happens.
Re : Well-rested, yes, it does work wonderfully, just make sure you have applied moisturizer on the eye area, as well as use an eyeshadow brush instead of a taklon concealer brush and dust lightly, don't tug, or it'll look so cakey
Use gentle, soft strokes to conceal undereye circles. Works well for me.
Re : kabuki brushes, yes, they tend to be rough on the skin. There are alot of kabuki brushes to choose from like Clarins, and other generic brands.
For the glowy and illuminated look, use Clear Radiance, or if you want a "glowy-like-a-model-blush", go for Rose Radiance, and if you want a "bronzed-model-blush" look, go for Warm Radiance. They all work great, depending on what you prefer.
Mineral veil only "sets" the look and makes it less "cakey" or makes the makeup look not too visible. I can't live without it, though I have ordered Pure Luxe You Glow Girl finishing powder to compare if it can achieve similar effects since the latter does not have Bismuth Oxychloride in it, which means less itchies for me.
