bouh .... that is the one of the worst I.Marant's collection I've seen in years ...
the Emmanuelle Alt touch is really annoying ... and I can even feel she tried to make a Marant version of Balmain ...
I thought Condé Nast didn't want its editors to consult ! Shame !
But I'm also wondering if Marant isn't, now, making collections for her US and UK customers and no more for her French Fans !

But, isn't it actually the French who are the big Balmain fans (i think we can safely use "Alt" and "Balmain" interchangeably in this context
)?I can't speak for those in the UK, but most Americans don't seem to get it. I can't even think of a place in New York that stocks Balmain...
Anyway, for some seasons now, i've felt that Marant is basically a commercial designer, and commercially, i guess this makes sense right now.




I don't think you can even compare Balmain to this...Balmain didn't invent shoulder pads...mini dresses are nothing new!...their are no blatent references to Balmain...
