Isabel Marant F/W 2025.26 Paris

Very exiting to see IM going back to good form. It was starting to look so cluttered and too stiff before and now it feels a lot more easy and careless, which is what IM stood for. The 80s references are all there but it somehow feels modern again.

Who is the girl who took the bow?

Same question here about the girl.

The sales were down last year. As she only left with 49% of her brand, there were rumors about her investors wanting her out.
So this is the collection and the direction that is supposed to pull the brand up.

I think going back to sexy is always a winning decision. I’m less convinced by the 80’s stuff. I don’t mind it in general but the VP aesthetic is a bit tiring tbh.

I think the issue is her aesthetic is very one dimensional and does not adapt to the evolution of people’s taste and needs.

She should have been able to really push beyond the never ending ‘I love LA from the 70s and the road trips with my suede boots’. 🥴

Last time she was relevant was with these ugly sneakers.
