^thanks!

That paisley dress is amazing! I loved it on the runway and in this backstage shot! I'm actually slightly dreading the spring collection arriving in shops because I'm broke! :(

^ There are so many items from the SS collection that caught my eyes I can't wait to see it in boutiques.

Here's the "Keffief "dress that's sure to be a hit.

i love the black platform sandals for SS08- I wonder how much they will be. I see those being really versatile for spring, summer and fall.

i bet that will sell out quickly! it's really adorable. le sigh. I'm trying not to get obsessed with her spring collection, but it is unavoidable. I will have to exercise some self restraint or make more money!

steph- i love the pieces you posted...and the store window...:woot:

and i love the top you ordered lucky!...

the keffieh dress is def adorable...
not sure how i feel about the keffieh print though...:ermm:...
it's cool but kind of weird as well...
:ninja:

and as much as i really  the shoes...how practical are they really?...
....

I know the shoes are not that practical... i don't wear heels all that often... they are so pretty though. I will have to think about it for a while.

Here is the Isabel Bag I got at her store in le marais (the one with the cacti garden) such a beautiful store! I wish my home could look like that.

I got the medium size bag- there is one size up from this one but I think it is just too big (for me at least- I am only 5'4" so I don't think I could carry a bigger bag than this)

...steph..
i SO agree with you on the bag thing..
i am also that height and there is a limit to how big a bag i will carry...
^_^...

that bag is really great...love it...
totally chic and bohemian and rock n roll all rolled into one...
B)

yummy leather!...completely edible!...
:woot:...

I'm glad you understand softgrey- I know a lot of people think "the bigger the better" and the olsen twins are tiny and love huge luggage-like handbags, but I just can't do it when it's 1/2 the size of my body! Plus, it's hard to find things inside, you know!

This is the last Isabel thing I got. An embroidered short sleeve top with pockets. I love that it has pockets!

right...that's it...
now i am officially jealous...
:judge:...

i would wear that top to DEATH!!!...
it is one of my favourite pieces...
totally an IM classic...

*best i could do is a knock off version which i found in london at topshop...
:ninja:...:p

hehe- I think this will become one of my regulars once the weather warms up a bit. I tried layering underneath, but it just doesn't look the same.

yeah- know what you mean...
needs to be loose and louche for the bohemian feel...
B)
i had to put my version away till next season as well..
but the beauty of it is that you can wear it next season and for seasons to come because it is so timeless...you know?

the plaid is probably good year round though, no?

Yes, the plaid one is more versatile. I'm wearing it right now in the winter layered over a black t-shirt. I think layering is such a great way to extend your wardrobe.

yeah...you are so right about layering...

we have a thread in the personal style section on layering...
i need to find that and revive it...

...

I'll try and find it and make a post too- I'm looking for a particular coloured t-shirt for layering so maybe somebody can help!

stealthmodesteph - thanks for posting your buys from paris, I love them all. The dress and the 2 tops are fantastic, I'm especially jealous of the plaid top as I don't remember seeing it and would love to have something like that!

luckyme - I love your picks, both are great!

I don't know why, but I'm not all that excited to see spring yet. It might be because I've been a fan of IM for a while ... her things don't change drastically, so I'm starting to feel like I have everything I need already. Although after seeing stealthmodesteph's plaid top, I feel like I need plaid!

^^
i was thinking the exact same thing actually tourist...
her silhouette doesn't change much from season to season and sometimes it feels a bit redundant...
i feel the same way about vanessa bruno and APC sometimes...

but after seeing some of these pieces posted separately here...
i have to say...

there are def some things i could easily see myself in...
esp that black top that lucky got...

stealth, I mad about that handbag. It's totally FABULOUS.

I think she does the basics so well, that after a while they can seem redundant, but there are the unique, artsy pieces thrown in that make it interesting, much more so than vanessa bruno and apc, at least for me. this season seemed to have a few of those "trinkets" hidden about.

soft, when I saw that black top, I was envisioning how you would wear it. I'm still the student.

ok lucky..
i have an excellent idea...
you can give your top to me and i will wear it for awhile...
taking pictures of course...
then i will give it back to you along with the pics ...
that way you will have a little lookbook to go with it...
:p

**i'll only be wearing it for purely professional reasons of course...:innocent:....

;)
