i hope they have some trousers, like above, some tee's and the new boots for fall in saddle brown. that's it, that's my order...and on sale of course.

thankfully Dries hasn't swallowed me in this season so Isabel gets all my attention.

Luckyme, this kind of fatigue / slouchy trousers are still in stores and look really great.

Since I saw the pic bellow and tried these slightly transparent and checkered trousers, I'm obssessed. I intend to get them during sales.

If anyone's interested, Hejfina in Chicago has some IM pieces on sale (I think they're currently 30% off).

Some pale khaki pants (which looked disappointingly "suburban mom" on me )...a dark mustard-ish jacket...and some tops.

They also have (not on sale) the dress above, the green silk dress, and some of the Ikat items.

so, this is too funny to pass up...Aby, met my husband and I in Paris and was kind enough to guide us through lots of the little streets along St-Germain-des-Pres. We ended up at the Isabel Marant store which I was dying to see and it was under renovation...I could see the staircase with the lovely flowers painted on the walls otherwise it was demolition city...so, game for a long stroll, Aby wasnt about to let her entourage go away discouraged and took me to Bon Marche (we left my husband in a park nearby). I turned a corner and saw a racks of IM clothes everywhere...tried on a bunch of stuff and ended up with the light green drawstring cargo's I've been eyeing, they are reversible too. They are bulky cotton fabric but paired with a short jacket will look fabulous, I think. Aby tried on a blue/black checkered dress with a shirt-tail hem and a drawstring waist that looked absolutely amazing on her, which, truth be told, there isnt much she trys on that doesnt! I hope she buys the dress on sale and posts it here.

that reminds me of going to london and finding the yohji store closed for renovation...so disappointing... glad Aby was there to redirect you though...

softie (forgive this being slightly off topic for a moment!.)...I'm surprised that you haven't heard of michelle williams...especially after recently....she was engaged to heath ledger...i'm sure you've at least heard her name....just maybe haven't put a name to a face ?...

Luckyme - thanks for posting this - I am going to be in Paris in two weeks time and good to know NOT to head to this branch of IM....so I will go to Rue de Charonne instead!

It should be opened this sunday for sales but otherwise it's closed.

ahh thanks aby - i will not be in paris this weekend....pity.....i will be there on 11 july..... all the good sales will be over i expect! ok cool so it must be quite close to the american apparel and apc stores....? we are staying on boulevard voltaire so its perfect for us.....merci!

That happened to me...my feet were so tired from walking and the store was closed

I bought a few things on sale...nothing special just a few plain tees...I didn't see anything that I really wanted on sale except that floral dress that comes in black and green, was going to buy it but it made me look wide! and it's a lot longer than on the runway
