love the colors of the top and the drop pockets on the blazer. go for it.

sill, i have that tunic in blue/ivory and wear it quite a bit. enjoy!

I like the blazer!

I'm currently in Paris and I'm eyeing a coat which I think I will be taking home with me.
I also bought another black sarouel pair of which I'm considering buying another pair as they really suit me and were on sale..hmm..

charps, I love that blazer. Did Stuart and Wright email you the pictures of their F/W pieces? I didn't see them on their blog.

I was just in Stuart and Wright! They have a few pieces so far: a long sleeve gray tee, a lovely wool cardigan in dark gray (with sort of purple highlights. think: old man inspired) in both a regular and v-neck and the blazer charps posted which is double breasted and looks to run quite small.

the sweaters all come Italy and seem to be particularly well made.

I really wish you could buy her pieces online. I know it's not much of a leap to go from looking at a pictures and calling a store, but for me, I either want it online or in person. I don't want to have to get up at 3 AM to call a store in London to see if they have a shirt I want. /rant over :p

I don't see how that blazer is double-breasted? I'm confused - are you saying there is another double-breasted version?

hi there, yes they emailed just a few pics including the one of the blazer ... i think only first tiny drop in ...

and after all those comments, i think i'll definitely get the blazer now!

hi juliet, you didnt happen to try on the blazer did you? i am a US size 6, so am thinking a size 2... what do you think? also, did you see where it was made?

it looks similar to the 'gael' blazer from SS09 that i posted previously. i know that ran really small too ... anybody have that?

oh, and if anybody sees this jacket anywhere could you please let me know - sorry for repeat posting!

hey charps. unfortunately, I didn't try on the blazer you posted. the other one that I saw that was double breasted and black (thanks, meg, I completely zoned out while looking at the picture, the blazer I saw was different) looked like it ran small. Typically, I would say the blazers do run small. T-shirts can run big. and the cardigan I tried on ran tts. good luck!

yes you're right i find her blazers typically run small - strangely other IM jackets can run really big! fingers crossed a size 2 will be ok ... :)
