i can relate Les Sucettes I never disclose the price in London you just say "It's vintage"

when the store opens it still will be worth a look. she still has the best linen t's.
i do like those- but i still have the tags on mine!...
somehow i never get around to wearing it!

though eileen fisher now has a whole line of T's in the same linen blend and i wear one of those quite a lot...
^_^

Can someone please tell me in what sizes do IM clothes come? 1, 2, 3? Is there 0 or 4?

I really want to get my hands on the linen t for summer, is there anywhere in London that has them? Black and white only.

Don't know about London but I was at Nida in San Francisco this weekend and they had v-neck and crew neck linen short sleeve tees in black and white. You might want to call them to see if they ship.

^^^some of those pieces are quite nice but I'm actually quite depressed about the prices....I liked that Isabel marant was under the radar....but now its become a slave to the celeb customer the prices have soared....

Emmanuel Alt's so worth it

How is the sizing on the linen t shirts? I am an European 34 should I go for the 0 or 1?

I do like my tops to be loose.

Thanks Les Sucettes, is that the size you got? which size do you usually take in tops if i may ask?
:flower:

I have an american vintage t shirt in a size small that is just huge on me... not a good look, even if the material is lovely.

I take a 36 and the size 1 fits as it should, but i prefer to size up on tops, so i go for 2. But I guess the size 0 is really your shirt number, although I would probably ask the store how do they run because the shirts are always slightly different. I got an e-mail saying Aime has the new Etoile stuff in store, I guess now is really the best time to call. Hope it helps.

I called and ordered two in a size' small' was told that was the smallest size... I did ask for a 0 though not sure how that translates... I think they will be a staple for summer. Thanks again!

Hi, I'm semi new to this thread, I went to a boutique where I get all my IM today and tried a bunch of Etoile stuff and was also disappointed. I've noticed a few people saying this but was praying it wasn't so and waiting to see for myself. Seems a bit flashier than last season. Was so annoyed at not getting a denim jacket last year so thought i'd try now but it's distressed and studded. Ended up just getting one of the long sleeved linen tee dresses. I also reckon the prices have gone up. Cotton shirt was £200 and ankle boots £468.

pemblon, 200 GBP on a cotton shirt sounds very expensive... Ann Demeulemeester has those kind of prices ... but I guess you really liked them if you payed that much on both items :) maybe you'll be kind enough to show us some pics.. I for one am very curios :) I am a fan of Isabel Marant for quite some time now, just never could afford her stuff :)

I think the problem in this case is more the shop than Isabel Marant. It sounds very expensive for such basic stuff, even with the price increase. Prices are different from shop to shop, the exact same pieces have different prices at Aime or Liberty for example. Aime being consistently more expensive than Liberty.

Pucci the S is a 0.

Oh I didn't get the shirt or the boots, just saying what they cost. Hmmm I think I should check out libertys next time I'm up in London. I didn't think they had a great range for AW but it's worth a look especially if it might save me money. I think you're right Les Sucettes indipendant stores do seem to have a higher mark up.
