I'm going to Paris in the beginning of March. Anyone knows when the spring collections arrive in the stores? Is IM cheaper in Paris?

Teja - almost everything from the spring collection should be in the Paris stores by then!

Help for online order!!!!

I am ordering Isabel Marant stuff online, and can someone tell me how small is the fit? Is the size 0 made very very small or just normal like size 1 here?

Thanks! :innocent:

^ the sizing is kind of all over the place. I have some size 0 tops that are huge and some that are very small ... it might help if you post what specifically you are looking at and asking here. I'd said this season, the jackets and tops seem to run a bit small. Then I tried on a dress in a 0 this season that I was swimming in.

I agree with tourist. IM sizing is very inconsistent. I feel like her loose/flowy pieces tend to run large, and her more fitted pieces tend to run small. Does that help at all?

^ thanks for the info..... Anyone knows websites that still carries Isabel Marant stuff online, besides liberty co uk and ebay???

^Yoox, but I think they only sell past seasons. most of it isn't that interesting but sometimes you can find cute things.

just want to say that i am already getting a ton of use out of the bator jacket. perfect cuddle system.

More news on the IM Soho boutique....

NEW YORK — Despite having her biggest customer base in Los Angeles and Hollywood stars such as Kirsten Dunst, Rachel Bilson and Cameron Diaz clamoring for her particular pared-down brand of elegance, Isabel Marant signed a lease to open her first U.S. store in SoHo here.

The 2,557-square-foot unit is at 55 Green Street on the corner of Broome Street. Marant said the store, which is scheduled to open in February, will carry Isabel Marant, Etoile, accessories and jewels. Marant, who is known for designing eclectic pieces with a bohemian edge, said, “SoHo is my favorite area in New York.” The Gunther Building, where Marant’s store is located, has Corinthian columns, detailed decorations on cornices and balustrades, high ceilings and 13 windows. Marant said she chose the site because it had an authentic New York style.

Marant’s husband, accessories designer Jérôme Dreyfuss, signed a 10-year lease for the 2,486-square-foot adjoining space at 475 Broome Street. This also will be the first U.S. shop for Dreyfuss, who has developed a cult following for his simple, supple leather handbags. Dreyfuss’ handbags previously had been sold at Barneys New York and Fred Segal.

“They wanted a destination,” said Diane Mandel, a retail broker at Lansco. “They didn’t want to be in the busiest area in the middle of a lot of brands.” Phi, Nicole Miller and Vivienne Tam have stores on Greene Street. “Broome Street is going to pick up because of Top Shop [located on Broadway and the corner of Broome Street]. The business is traveling down,” predicted Mandel.

Personally I like the cream top in the second image but the higgeldy-piggeldy misalignment of the Tattersall check would drive me batty so...
