Thanks breatheOxygen! (Love your username ! )

I like their use of black as a spice.

I'm so glad that people seem to like fashion from here. B) Yay Tokyo!

thank you tiffany and breathe0xygen!

Aww, Thanks Mirra!

I love the last black dress. I would totally wear it. The red-flowery skirt girl is cute too!

The woman with the little girl is typical of "hip Tokyo women over 40". At times it's as if they think piling on Western/Native American accessories is their "only hope of hip"...

And yes, I <3 Chanel, skirts with leggings and flats are everywhere. The dowdier the skirt and shoes, the cooler it is apparantly. :D They're all so petite and it looks cute, like naughty little girls raided Mommy's wardrobe.

thank you mirra, these are lovely. I especially like the outfit in the middle on the bottom row of pics - it looks so long and chic, yet the white top is really flowy and kind of quirky. I also love the last girl's little black dress. so cute - I would definitely wear that. :D

Actually, you'll find the only acessories she'd wearing are a wide belt and a turquoise necklace. She doesn't even have a handbag. I don't see how this equates 'piling.' :innocent:

But that was one of my favourite pics, more so for the expression on the child's face; "You know i'm cute. Dare you to pinch my cheek."

thought this was cute & interesting
definitely not very practical but fun & colourful !

This fasion style called "Decorer ” (mean of decorator. In Japan , it is very popular English usage to attach the suffix, “ er ” to any words to mean the person who do something.. for example, the person who wear “ shanel called “ shaneler ” )". In the past, this style was called “ shinorer ” because Japan ese talent, “ Tomoe Shinohara ” wear like this. After that, this fasion trend disappear at onece. But recently this fasion start to rampant again as “ Decorer ” .

At first, their way of decoration is very slight, subtlety and casually. But now their decoration technique go to extreme. Yes, they are really decorer !

No, you are right Unique Chic, thank you for pointing it out. :flower:. Actually, I also realized after it was too late that my post wasn't worded well.... I just saw the turquoise necklace, the yolk on her jacket, the belt, and the cowboy boots --the total look. I meant to point out the social phenomenon that so many women in Tokyo in her age group go for Western inspired items as an alternative to being conservative/classic, that it's almost a uniform. And yes, the girl is adorable!!
